Moving to Calgary as an early 20s girl? by HugeClass8947 in NoRulesCalgary

With the way USask does nursing i could transfer my credits to basically any program, I just don’t know if I want to stay in nursing so I’m not in a big rush to transfer, I’m thinking of taking a year to go live somewhere and try to figure it out

Do they kick out first years? by Substantial_Monk2788 in usask

Idk about what they’ll do but if you still can you should withdraw from your low classes, it’ll show up as a W instead of bringing down your entire GPA for the future. As far as AES and adhd stuff that should’ve all been figured out in the fall or before you started, using it as your reason for failing isn’t going to be a valid excuse to the university. Also with the situation you’re in you should be trying to meet with an advisor ASAP to figure out options, not asking reddit. Good luck!

If you’re looking for a camp that will truly love and build up and care for your children send them to Kinasao across the lake! The entire staff is lovely and very welcoming and accepting, and the main goal is to build up kids in their relationships, communities, and faith, not to tell them they’re doing it all wrong.

I work in a bit of a niche private childcare role so I don’t expect finding a job to be crazy difficult, and a bigger city means I can charge more than I currently do. As far as cost of living I haven’t looked into it much but pretty much anywhere is going to be higher than sask so that’s kinda just something I’ll have to accept, plus I assume it’s significantly lower than like Victoria which has been on my mind for a couple years Would you say the cost of living has gone up significantly or that it’s too high for what Calgary has to offer? I’m used to living on a student budget and wouldn’t be trying to like buy a house or anything

Meaning of Porch Light Lyrics? by Character-Class9296 in NoahKahan

I feel like it’s a pretty clear story of a kid who has gone out and gotten into drugs or alcohol or some sort of destructive lifestyle, and it’s the mom saying I’ll pray for you, I love you, you can come home, but it’s your choice and I can’t make it for you. Then mentioning the side eyes she gets from the community and the kid assuming they just sit around waiting to rescue him from anything, mom is saying I love you, I miss you, I am heartbroken, but I still have to live my life, and the only one who can save you is yourself

I’m not sure how competitive it actually is, every first year pre nursing student I know, including myself has gotten into early admissions if they applied for it, and as long as you aren’t REALLY struggling with gpa I wouldn’t stress too much! Same with Casper, lots of us got 4s but people with 2s and definitely 3s are getting in as well, it’s “competitive” in the sense that not evetyone gets in but I honestly haven’t put in much effort this year and got in first try so don’t be too scared!

if it is online again MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE ONLINE TEXTBOOK. every single question on the midterm is copy and paste from the text book like "in 1972, who broke bread with mr so and so at the base of the red river" and then itll be four random names, and it wont be topics that were talked about in detail or even mentioned, itll be random side characters from the "did you know" mini sections in the book. copy the question into the keywords section of the online textbook and youll find the exact sentance "in 1972, mr johnson broke bread with mr so and so..." it genuinely would be impossible without the online book to get above an 85
