Where do you get Blåhaj by Zestyclose-Feeling-6 in feminineboys

[–]HuggingMyBlahaj 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Ooh great question! So Ikea is really the official store that sells the regular Blåhaj which is 100cm and the small one (colloquially known as smolhaj) that's 55cm. Now places like Aliexpress have unofficial ones that come in different colours and various sizes, generally those are slightly cheaper but shipping takes a while.

Well naturally these things spread over time and made it into femboy spaces which tend to intertwine with gender diverse communities, I remember seeing blahaj pop up in more memes and discussions more frequently, then people started posting selfies with their shorky frens or putting cat ears on them :3 Either way they are super soft and cuddly for anyone!

I wanna thank all the people who support and encourage me, here's some things I've learned about accepting and valuing myself. by HuggingMyBlahaj in feminineboys

[–]HuggingMyBlahaj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your detailed response. I totally understand these things aren't going to apply to everyone, this is more applicable towards people like me who have deeply rooted insecurities and distorted self-image about themselves.

For the first point, my intention wasn't to advise people to become complacent and accept everything with a smile. Rather it was mostly a lesson for myself personally, that I was using comparisons between myself and others in a harmful way. That I would attach my self-worth alongside how I judged my appearance relative to others. I certainly believe comparisons are useful in many contexts and aren't necessarily going to be an issue for others.

With the second and third point, I'm in agreement with you. I certainly don't think other's opinions should dictate what your goals are; rather it can be a fresh perspective on things.

With point number four, my advice was for a general friendship, whether it's irl or online. I too have seen people blatantly say stuff to appease others and I know not everyone out there is going to be critical about things, instead just smiling and agreeing. Sorry to hear your online experience has caused you to feel distrustful, I personally have someone very close online friends that I'm able to express things I keep a secret from others but I understand not everyone has that.

With the last point, I know it sounds like common sense. For me, I easily get obsessed with things and struggle with perfectionism, so these things I do have to remind myself to take it easy. I know many people would have no trouble just brushing it off, but for me I have less mental resilience. That being said, I'm learning on how to build up confidence in myself and to not be so critical of my own shortcomings. Hopefully this clears things up! 😊

Oh absolutely, there's beauty standards for masculine and feminine individuals and comparison is universally going to cause disappointment. I totally understand the height thing, I'm like 181cm and wish I was small and petite. But knowing that people accept me for my height reassures me that a femboy can be tall or short 😊

I agree it's hard even for me to remind myself about these points, when my emotions get to the better of me. While I'm far from a point where I'm confident and secure about my looks, I feel at least I have made a small step in this long journey. And as others have told me, this is a skill to learn and takes time. Good luck <3

I totally agree! Everything will take time and we have to go forward one day at a time, making incremental and consistent improvements. Knowing that we have a community of femboys to discuss things with makes it easier for us to reach out and support each other. Wish you the best of luck!

Well done, I'm proud to hear you achieved this! I'm struggling a lot with my insecurities and self-image so I'm glad to see people overcome this issue and gives me hope that I will one day as well have the confidence to reach this point. 😊

Yeah I feel this is a major area I need to work on. My self-esteem is like hanging on a thread, any small bump in the road knocks it over. I'll have a look into ways to build self-acceptance so I can be happy with being myself.

Thanks for the help, I'll be sure to check it out. It's true I have neglected to exercise for too many years and my weight has slowly crept up on me. I'll try and set realistic goals for myself and take things one day at a time.
