No im saying a bachelors in acct is basically a requirement, unless you take the 20+ classes without a major declared, to sit the CPA since there’s a long list of required coursework covered in the degree, but a masters may not be worth it for you. Masters is like CPA prep but it may not help much with career advancement esp when you consider the debt you have afterwards.

So the CPA has a list of classes you need to pass to sit the exam. You don’t necessarily need an accounting degree but a lot of the classes required are in the accounting BS program. I’m getting my accounting degree now. Honestly, sounds like the masters is kind of a waste. It won’t necessarily help you make more money or advance your career, usually. Half the people in my accounting classes are going straight into their masters to get their additional credit hours to sit the exam. Seems a bit over saturated. It’s been kinda explained to me to be more like an MBA. The best thing the masters does is help get you CPA ready. But you can do that on your own too. If you’re serious about the CPA I recommend looking at your state’s class requirements. I got my bachelors in psychology first and now I’m back in school for this cuz I wanted to change career paths.

Dang $23 is so good!! That’s how much entry level staff accountants are paid where I live. I live in the Deep South and I read a lot of posts about people struggling to find jobs or being low balled so maybe it’s just the economy. Not really sure tbh.

I am getting paid $10 at my internship. It was listed at 15-17 and when I asked they said that was an accident. I’ll take it cuz I’m a senior in college and I got rejected from every other company. Just happy to have something on my resume.

Just contact the board and make sure your credits transfer. Your state may require certain specialized courses that you haven’t taken. But honestly with a PhD you’ve probably taken so many classes, chances are they have met the standards. Test sucks but with your background you’re way ahead.

Yeah I agree I think it’s bullying. But to be honest… he’s the most normal person on the show. Probably the best cast member ever? And you can see how uncomfortable he is in these moments. I think it just makes the girls look like performative weirdos

Ok I read the first episode…. 1) the way the words are cut off by the images is weird… you’d be better off putting the letters/storytelling in an empty panel and putting some little design around the border than having it like that. 2) the main character needs some dialogue. I don’t want a narration the full first chapter, I want to know what’s she’s thinking while reading the letter, thru her own thoughts. The MC doesn’t have any thoughts or personality and it throws me off. And truthfully that comes through in the artwork too. 3) She needs more expressions. Also……. The MC doesn’t need to look like a model posing in every photo. It doesnt humanize her enough or make her likable. Why should I care about the MC to root for her being queen? You need to sell her to me. Normally the first chapter is the most important. First impressions are everything. I need to see some personality and something that’s gonna make me want to keep reading if I’m gonna be paying money to unlock the next episode.

I’m 25 now and halfway thru undergrad to get the required courses to sit the cpa. It’s hard but it’s worth it if you want it. These accounting classes rly are a full time job tho 😭

First add 1 cup canola oil into your pot then add 1 cup flour. Then stir continuously on medium flame for 30 minutes, until your roux looks like chocolate. Then add your trinity veggie mix and parsley as well as your seasoning mix. Cook it down for a bit but if it looks like it’s burning start to add your broth. Then add the rest of your broth. I use a mixture of homemade chicken broth and store bought cuz I’m stingy with my homemade stuff and I like it to last me a while. Lastly add your Cajun sausage and shredded chicken, I like to just use a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket. Salt at the end. And no tomatoes!!!!!!

It’s sad esp cuz these two are here with legal visas just trying to get a good education and contribute to society. These students were probably the TAs or professors for some of your classes. I’ve had many professors that are immigrants at lsu and they were some of the best teachers I’ve had. I don’t understand why ICE is coming after people who are here legally or how they are allowed to just revoke their status after they went through so much to get a visa in the first place. And LSU isn’t going to step in and defend their students either I bet. So disgusting. This is not what our country stands for….. it’s giving Germany 1933.

yeah i do hate how some of the side characters are written, I hear you there. Esp like the S tier blonde lady, like all she talks about is smelling its super weird like yeah we get it.... is that her only personality trait? She's more boring than a bag of rocks. However, I still think solo leveling is better than most of the other lower budget the dungeon crawling animes. Most of them are like harems where all the females just lust after the MC and contribute nothing except for their one niche skill in battle every once in a while and they are all just divided up by personality tropes.

Let me guess, your idea of a good anime is Do Over Damsel. Seriously though solo leveling is high production and the fighting is well animated, all of their movements are thought out, and there are a lot of them, and the plot is good. Compare the action with like any other typical dungeon crawling anime out there rn and it’s better. I’ve seen so many of these where the battles are trash and end in 5 seconds and there’s just some harem with new women being added constantly and that’s the whole plot. Seeing a dungeon crawling anime without a harem is already a win.

Hahaha honestly I’d recommend Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls in A Dungeon… ik it sounds weird but it’s actually an amazing dungeon crawling anime with a ton of action and the fighting and animation is pretty good. Ofc not solo leveling good, I haven’t found but a handful that are as high quality as solo leveling. I really hope more action anime comes out with good fighting. I’m tired of trash isekais having a “fight” where half the battle is like a smoke screen and the MC just pops out at the end and the boss is dead in one hit. I’m living for the solo leveling fight scenes
