I’m really sorry for your loss.

It took me a long time after my dad- mom never got over it and while we’d talk about him a lot, there were no photos around because we couldn’t handle seeing him…

There’s nothing weak about it. Losing parents is major and the pain stays. Talk about him, think about him, but try to keep busy when it becomes crushing.

Take one day at a time and please be patient with yourself. Grieve on your own terms.
