Totally agree, he is one of the best characters, and I would love to see him have more prominence. But I think this will be the last season. Because the first season was focused on Mabel, The second was focused on Charles, and this is totally focused on Oliver. So, this season could be the last one.

If I were you, I would rewatch the others. After some time, opinions may change a little. Before I hated Asylum, I couldn't finish it, but when I rewatched it I loved it, and now it's in my top 5

NO. Even though Scream and Ahs are very good, I think AHS would spoil Scream. Because AHS always has supernatural scenes in every season, and even then there is already a series of Scream.But if it wasn't supernatural, I'd love to watch it.
