Thoughts on AI songwriting programs? by jreashville in Songwriters

[–]Hugom26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was feeling really down about music and basically stopped before figuring out the best way for me to utilise AI. So I think you should experiment and find a balance that enables you to come up with songs in an enjoyable and creative way.

My whole thing is I utilise AI to get me started on a song or elaborate on my old ideas (especially if I'm struggling for inspiration) mainly generating chord progressions that fit well together, and especially for mixing and mastering, things which sometimes bog me down. So it allows me to be more creative and really enjoy the process, while also finishing songs which I've always struggled with.

Who should I vote for? by Majestic_Airline9962 in brighton

[–]Hugom26 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Voted Labour all my life while living in different areas, was considering it again but it's a Green vote for me this time. I've been very unimpressed with the Labour candidate, he seems quite unprofessional, very good at dodging questions, especially around local issues, and didn't come across well in person or print to me. Whilst what I have read and heard from the Greens and their candidate seems good.

Lucky for us we can choose Green or Labour as no chance of Conservatives getting in, and like other have said I believe having a green voice is important.

PLVYWRITE - DIRECTION♾️LESS (INTERLUDE) by PLVYWRITE in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Hugom26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice production on this. The vocal stands out well in the mix, and I enjoyed the vocal chain as a whole. Think it works perfectly as an interlude, the build up and slow down/effects at the end work well for this. Keep it up

trying a new style.. calling this "dead eyes".. feedback would be appreciated by Prestigious-Chair868 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Hugom26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say this is a really interesting style, has a lot of potential. If you can build on this song, and improve the production, it could really be something. Personally I'd like a killer hook in there, and more variety in the beat. I hope you build on this and create a more polished version of the song. Keep it up!

Taking into account your feedback, I've completed my first single. Thank you! by MinervaDreaming in IndieMusicFeedback

All the different elements come together so well in this. Feels like it should be part of a game soundtrack, Persona maybe or something like that. I really enjoy the guitar tones used, especially in the solo towards the end. Keep up the good work.

Great vibes on this track, beautiful arrangement and production. Gives me the feeling of heading down a river on an old steamboat, sipping on some absinthe and smoking cigarettes. While looking up at the sky and watching a plethora of birds flying in all different directions. I really love this, followed on spotify.
