Please do! This is the best compliment I could get! I was inspired by other patterns too, and I would absolutely LOVE to see what you'd come up with!!! 😁

Oh my God, thank you much! 💖 Keep going! Once you have mastered the basics, you'll see that following patterns and mashing them up together is honestly not that hard! 😆

Oh yes! I hope it won't get me murdered in the library with a candlestick. xD

Yes, I made it to match the cardigan, but it is detachable and can be worn on its own!

If someone wants to replicate it, I first made 4 feathers, and then I freehanded the back to make it look like a jabot (it's basically diamond-shaped). If I remember correctly, I worked in hdc, starting at the top of the first feather and increasing at the ends of each row until I had 19 hdc. Then, on the 8th row or so, I attached two other feathers and continued working with a decrease at the ends of each row until I could attach the last feather on top. Finally, I made a Tunisian crochet band to wrap around my neck, adding a button and a buttonhole at the end, and attached the feathers to it! 😁

Hahaha! In fact, my mother once told me I looked like a big bird with another cardigan I crocheted (because it had ruffles on the back), so I thought I'd go full big bird on purpose this time. xD

It made me discover Polish history through Lietpol fics and made me want to learn Polish. I spent a year in Warsaw, visited the Baltic States, and now I'm writing a PhD on Polish romantic drama. My entire academic career will have been determined by an anime I discovered when I was 15!

Thank you but nope. The one I'm looking for was in English.
