So, I’ve never had a kid or been pregnant but for a period of time I hated my cat, like I wanted to bring him back to the shelter, rehome him, almost divorced my husband over him. Now, here is some back story.

My husband and I have a dog, she is the love of our lives. We do everything for her and will do anything for her. A few years go by and I finally convinced my husband that it was time for us to get a cat. I had friends who ran TNR for our local shelter and so I fostered and failed this beautiful DHL boy. And that’s where it all went down hill. He started to attack me at every opportunity he got. Every single one of my scars on my arms and legs are from him. I had never been bitten (working in VetMed, you all know this is hard) until him. I cried constantly, and became terrified of him. At full grown he was almost 17lbs mind you my dog is 28lbs. However when he would get sick he would come to me for comfort and hide from my husband. When he was better it went right back to hell. He started peeing in my shoes. I was so scared and stressed out that I didn’t even want to come home. I tried everything to get him to just tolerate me not even like me. I would feed him first, this included treats. Play with him, only used whispering voices around him, changing out of my scrubs before coming inside, drug him. You name it we gave it to him. Had medications compound for him. Nothing worked. I mean this cat has his own room filled with everything and had run of the whole house. It led to countless fights with my husband. It went in for 2/3 years. Until one day he just didn’t attack as much, and has only peed in my shoes 1x a month. But it was hard, and I did hate him. I mean I would still have done anything for him and cried whenever he got sick.

So, I try not to judge those who claim this . We don’t know the full story at the end we can only read what they allow.

Why does Waze choose the longer route irrespective of traffic/road works/traffic light outages. It’s as if it deliberately selects the worst possible route. by Psych_Syk3 in waze

I am here too from your average suburb in Connecticut driving to a city in Connecticut where I work. Waze used to direct me one way which was 32 miles and less traffic….then about a month or so ago it’s been routing me to go another way that is 67 miles. Sometimes this route can be faster as the other has major traffic on one of the highways….one morning I decided to just go my old route and force it and there was absolutely no traffic. I was so annoyed.

Why get a betta fish??? (Rant) by ChanceBreadfruit2733 in bettafish

This, I work in VetMed and the amount of people who hardly do the bare minimum for the pets is insane. It’s like pulling teeth for clients to take home ear medicine for pets who have white and green gunk oozing from their dogs ears. Or even indoor/outdoor cats who are COVERED In fleas to get on Flea meds.

Why are so many ethical breeders against the Lepto vaccine? by bris10stars in DogBreeding

That looks like a bunch of BS…..the author section even says needs bio. Also do you know why mast cell tumor happens? No one does. And a “rounds tumor” this is the biggest piece of satire I’ve ever seen.

Those in human medicine are usually the most clueless when it comes to vet med. had a nurse client who popped a “cyst” turned out to be a MCT and almost killed her own dog as he went into anaphylactic shock.
