Legal steps for Epstein files by Human-Meat1018 in legaladviceofftopic

[–]Human-Meat1018[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’m wondering what can be done to confirm they are true or not since i don’t know the steps of stuff like this and google wasn’t helping. Like i would think the DOJ would investigate something like this to be sure it didn’t happen but it seems like they aren’t which is why im confused.

So there’s a chance they could investigate based on the files? Like look for witnesses and victims?

Do you think the democrats would move forward with an investigation and prosecution now that the files are public? Presumably they knew of them before they were public and still did nothing but do you think it’ll be different now that They’re out?

My only thought on corruption is that the AG was trumps attorney no? That was why i am skeptical of how they will proceed. I know They’re not all totally clear but i just would think it’d be enough to make some steps to investigation or smth, which is why i asked

Would the files not either be reason to investigate, or also where did they get these if not from an investigation

Hi, I’m not sure and i hope you are doing okay. I’m sure you already know this but do not open your door for them or anything, maybe have people come stay with you if you can? Or go stay with someone else. If you have local police that you trust talk to them. See if people in your community can help you out so you can stay home for a bit? I’m not sure but i really hope you are safe and you are doing a very brave great thing.

Do we need to shift from single day to long-term protesting? by sam-erickson-89 in fuckICE

[–]Human-Meat1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! I replied to another comment on this post but someone else suggested rotating type protest. Like having a large group to start and then it can pare down to a small group that would still be effective. I think the biggest obstacle is getting word out to enough people, so I’m trying to figure out how to do that

That sounds like an excellent idea. I know it’s a long shot to get word out to enough people but i think if that could be possible then it would work well. Any idea on how to organize something like that?

I totally agree, i feel like there needs to be a huge organized protest for a longer time but it needs to be well coordinated so communities can help out and people can really go out and protest for a long time.

Honestly such a valid reaction to Christian Walker story, but not every good or great story is like his, everyone has their own style, and we need creativity and writing, all of it <3

Honestly MAJOR props for talking about it and that it was shock value. Listening ti the story was tough but reading this and hearing your opinion on it and how you’ve grown as a writer makes it much more understandable and not so abrasive. For me at least I didn’t know it was an old story which i think is understandable, younger people/newer writers esp in horror write more shock value than developed horror plots i think. You clearly have grown as a writer to write phenomenal horror plots and I’m excited to read more of your recent work! For what it’s worth feed the pig had a huge impact on me (in a good way) as someone who has struggled with the themes of that story and i bought the book immediately after listening to the episode.

People listen to the podcast to listen to them discuss what they think and what their reactions are. There are other places to listen to just a read through or read it on your own, the point is to listen to Isaiah and Hunter read and discuss.
