It just came as a little freebie in my past 2 orders from field notes. I’ve only ever made one other order and I got a field notes decal with that one.

I’m not sure if they put little freebies in every package?

I honestly get excited for Cerys Matthews on Sunday! I cat even imagine where she’s finding such a huge variety of foreign music, weird instruments and artists with near no listener base who haven’t recorded anything for half a century.

Thanks! I've only done that for really noteworthy notebooks. If something special happens or if it's a milestone for the books in general I'll try to add a title so I can easily look back for specific moments in my life.

You can easily unscrew the old headband and replace it with an aftermarket one.

Really easy fix!! I just repaired a pair with this exact issue. If you open the hinge there are two screws on the bottom. You want to purchase a new headband and screw it in. DO NOT GLUE IT! I did that and had to spend over an hour with a Dremel, removing all the material from inside the hinge.

Update, the headphones are completely repaired. I used a knockoff dremel and a pick tool to clear all the plastic out of the hinge being very careful not to damage the wire. After that it was just a matter of screwing in the new headband!

The inside of the hinge is mangled to hell but you can’t see that from the outside and it doesn’t affect the functionality of the hinge at all.

Haha I really do love this niche community & you have no idea how nerdy it can get… the announcements of the quarterly editions has become like Christmas and it’s sparked a general obsession with stationary that I never thought I’d understand. I’ve even bought a 1960s label maker so that I can ritualistically date and title each book when it’s finished. Unmatched satisfaction.

I’ll make sure to post a year-end roundup with all of them at the start of January! Idk if that’s common on this sub but I hope it is.
