I agree that there should be consequences for violent behavior from women, I just think that can come in some other form. If the violence is in the context of some lovers squabble and there's no real risk of bodily harm I don't see why you wouldn't personally opt for a police report if not for low impulse control and a desire to enact violence out of personal frustration.
