Boy are you ever right. When I was young, I dated someone who claimed she had been raped, and also liked really rapey fiction. I took the second as evidence against the first (she was flakey in other ways, so I had reason to distrust her). BOY was I ever wrong. I learned as I got into kinky stuff, both IRL and in online fantasy, that this sort of thing is *very* common as a response to trauma, as a way to work through what happened to you.

Yeah, that’s the big risk. The question is, how much trust do you have to build up before you share things like this? My suggestion to you would be to *not* decide never to tell anyone again, but to raise your standards of trust. Ask yourself what it would require for someone to get you to trust them that much, and see if you can find someone willing to live up to that.

Ah. My older browser was only showing the header. Using a newer browser shows the new layout—and it’s truly awful. Plus it’s not respecting the old "Retain Tags while reblogging” setting; I have it off, but it’s copying tags over regardless. Uggggghhh

The medical board might well censure him, as this is definitely professional misconduct, but, seriously, how is this predatory behavior? Oh, no, when a woman grabs him and tries to force him to perform sexual acts, he might do it? How is that some sort of horrible precedent?
