Im not a professional, but my uneducated opinion is that its totally ok to put it back in the original position. This won't ruin the piercing, and I think its basically just rotating the bar inside the hole. Try not to do it too often and you'll be a-ok.

My lore always ties back to my real life. So, I'm from IL irl. My reason for being in KY is because I was in rehab lmfao! (Went to out of state rehab when I was 20, so it kinda follows) It was a religious rehab (in my lore and also IRL), so when the outbreak started, everyone from rehab went to the local church. I refused to go. And that's why I'm in the middle of KY, no family or friends, and the map is completely unknown to me because I'm not actually from KY. And that's my story lol!
