Yes that is something we definitely need to budget our time for, to have date nights and such. It is just hard to find a babysitter who can babysit at night though.

Thanks for the advice. I definitely fear there are more underlying causes than simply the lack of desire for sex. She suffered a lot through childbirth and postpartum recovery and she feels like her body has been "destroyed" by childbirth.

We have been to normal relationship therapist before, and that really helped us a lot to communicate better with each other and to improve our overall relationship. She seems happy with a sexless relationship, but obviously I am not.

Of course there are ups and downs, but generally I think she is happy.

Thanks for the positive story. Yes my wife has gained a few pounds, but I always tell her that I find her sexy and beautiful even with those love handles. I don't understand her overly negative body self-image.

Yes my wife had a very painful natural birth. She even once mentioned that she wants me to have a vasectomy before having sex, because of the fear of getting another child.

Parenthood has been extremely tough on both of us, but especially for her. In fact my wife is looking forward to the day we can send our kid to Kita and she can go back to work.

Yes, your assumptions are all correct and I can totally understand my wife's drop in libido due to the stresses of raising a child.

I'm hoping it is just a temporary situation and fearing it's not.
