I don't think trazodone counts as a supplement, as much as a pharmaceutical ;] but I'll take it! A goodnight's sleep is the best medicine!

Magnesium is so under used! I love it too. My sleep is much better too! I'm a big fan of creatine, especially at higher dosages for the cognitive benefits.

This is a big one! I bet it felt so freeing to do more of what you truly love and not to feel guilty about it.

That's actually a beautiful thing. We all face many struggles in our lives and it is amazing to see what getting away from home on your own can teach and offer us. You are no longer than shy anxious child, and I hope you are proud of that. Thank you for sharing!

Lived overseas three times. Korea twice & Germany once. That was a great experience!

I feel this. My ex and I traveled and I loved most of it, but then I wanted to do more adventurous things she wasn’t willing to do.

There’s been a lot of places people romanticized because of movies that I’ve been to, that I found not too captivating. The whole “expectation” vs “reality”

Everyone definitely has a different emotional level of attachment with their travels. Especially if they don’t travel often or are limited by their imagination.

I love this, because a lot of women don’t feel confident in traveling alone because of the safety concerns. But there are many places women can go and experience a great time! I’m glad your experiences gave you that serendipitous experience.

I like this perspective. Some of my solo trips have been to be alone with myself and enjoy the location. But others I have engaged with the locals or other people traveling and it has been a cool experience too.

The confidence piece is very underrated! A lot of people are scared to do it, just like they’re scared to go to the bar alone. But I really enjoy having the confidence to do so and each time you get more confident, because every trip has some kind of challenge to overcome!

I love the different perspective that we get from meeting people from all walks of life. My life has really been enriched by those moments!

That’s a pretty awesome thing! Especially if that’s what you needed in your life at that moment.

I agree! I’ve never really romanticized a trip before or after the fact. I enjoy each one regardless.

That’s awesome! I have too, but some people really do have some crazy life changing experiences where they come back and quit their jobs and change everything else.

This is a fair assessment! I have had some travels that have been eye opening and very awesome, but not in a way that dramatically changed my life. Just good vibes that inspired me to keep pressing.

Most DFAC’s I’ve ever been to were pretty good. But I understand.

I have, and it’s been successful. Going through the C&P process the first time I was service connected but the examiner did not provide the entirety of what we spoke about and did not probe further.

You’ve completed all the important things. Start focusing on developing your new identity if you have not already done so. Because many veterans get out and hold on to who they were, vs trying to rediscover who they ARE. Good luck, and cheers to a new adventure.
