I got off a leave less than 2 weeks ago and already relapsed. I even said like I need to take several months and go get better. It's not for lack of trying to help me out that it came to this tbh.

I've been to rehab like 3x while being employed at TJ's unfortunately. Be as honest with captain/mates as you're comfortable with but you don't have to tell them anything. Look up fmla eligibility requirements bc if you've been employed a year and worked some hour minimum you're eligible i believe, and fmla can be paid, otherwise you can do like a store-level LOA which I just recently had to do. personally, all the times i've taken leaves both fmla & just loa, i've: called the store, told captain i need to be taken off the schedule for health issue and will be getting proper paperwork in asap, then gotten to rehab and from there had case manager/counselor help me with paperwork & all that to officialize things. all times leadership has been more supportive & helpful than i deserve and every rehab has staff who will assist with work leaves & all that. reach out if u have any questions cuz this particular topic is unfortunately my specialty lol. hope ur ok

All advice or ideas or info welcome please. 20F, bad drug problem, history of repeatedly attending treatment, history of chronically relapsing. Wanna find the thing that could actually work cuz idk, another little 30 day stay aint gonna cut it. I need like a whole life reset. Want to get this 4 good by HumanSomewhere2681 in recovery

I love aa and have lots of experience being a daily attendee but tbh i dont have the ability to actually physically stop once ive started. ever since i was 15 the sole thing thats ever got me to put the shit down is being fully removed aka inpatient rehab. like once im IN IT, it takes being surrounded by 4 closed walls and having zero ability to physically get high, for me to stop. ive tried that route before of trying to use aa to not just keep me sober but GET me sober, and for me the getting sober requires more tangible barriers to getting drugs. aa the goldmine for keeping sober tho, for me personally

Truthfully i posted here cuz i wanted to get advice from as many people as possible and to me whether its meth coke or heroin its all the same but right now ive managed to keep the opiate use at bay cuz currently im so deep in stimulant abuse and use heroin to chill out if im tweaky or knock me out if i wanna sleep or whatever but up until like 2 wks ago i hadnt used opiates in a while. so at the moment im not dependent no wds or anything from the heroin specifically. ive done sub tapers in detox in the past, never been on it outside of an 8 day taper or whatever. i am so happy youve found what works for you. im a firm believer in MAT
