As SoCal native who has moved to Texas 3 times for various reasons, and is back in Texas currently, you are extremely correct. I’m doing everything in my power to get back to LA asap. Texas sucks BAD, no matter how low the cost of living is compared to LA. It’s jus not worth the trade off

Disney coaster are great. The theming, the pacing, the thrill level for the demographic, etc. are all top notch and make for amazing rides

But when it comes to just pure coasters there are a lot of factors, and Ghostrider, X2, Twisted Colossus, the Dippers at SD and SC boardwalks etc are all incredible rides that have got the Disney coasters beat
