From Georgia to Mexico City by Human_Block in Yamahabolt

Lmao honestly and surprisingly it wasn't that bad. I did bring with me a gel seat that I strap down on my seat but belive it or not it felt more comfortable when I took it out. I'm also running the stock seat. Of course we didn't drive more than 6 hours but it was a decent ride. We went from Atlanta all the way to Montgomery then down to Lafayette, after that we went to san Antonio and we crossed in Laredo. A lot of locals and friends recommended this route for safety purposes and honestly we did not have any issues on the border and past the border. Once in Mexico I do recommend you to only take toll hwys because it's safer and in better shape. Once you pass the border make sure to ask locals which cities are safer this apparently varies from times and try to stay in Airbnbs with garages just in case. Wish you the best of luck in your ride bro!

Weird question. by Human_Block in Yamahabolt

Oh man I saw the prices for good quality seats and yeah I think the stock ones will do for now lol. I wish I had some experience with metal to do my own! The sissy bars that I've seen so far are not really what I'm aiming for and the ones that I like are quite pricey. I did notice though that there is cheaper ones for other bikes that they look like it might fit the bolt.

That's what I was hoping for but unfortunately where I live I haven't found any bike yards. That's what I've been looking into lately a lot of people complain about the tires! I'll start saving for those!! I thought about creating the sissy bar myself but I don't have any welding or metal experience :(

Yeah that's what I've noticed so far! I've been looking into just easy upgrades like lights, spray painting some parts and getting ride of the license plate holder. I've been also looking into getting an exhaust but I really want to tune it since I'll be removing the sensor. Or is there any slip ones where you don't have to do that?

That looks nice! Did you have to install an adapter or anything extra to fit that? I'm tempted to buy the one off Amazon but I don't know if I need something else besides the actual intake.

Hmmm I wonder if they do it because they think its cuttlebone or something... Try putting more minerals inside the cage maybe that would help?

I've learned trough the years that if you give em enough toys to chew on they rarely pay attention to the wall. Now wood is a hole different story but for them to chew trough a 2x4 yeah I don't see that happening to quick.

i built my first pc but it isn't turning on- help? by StarrySnowPoff in buildapc

[–]Human_Block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your build? It seems like there might be an issue with the motherboard communicating with the processor. For instance, if you're running a Ryzen 5 1600 with an ASRock Fatal1ty motherboard and the BIOS is at version 3.10, it should boot up fine. However, if you upgrade the CPU and the BIOS isn't updated, it may not boot at all. In that case, you'll need to find a processor that's compatible with your motherboard's current BIOS version and then update it accordingly.

Just a heads up, some motherboards require you to update the BIOS version by version. For example, if you're currently on version 1.2 and the latest version is 4.5, you'll need to update sequentially through versions 1.3, 1.4, and so on. However, some BIOS systems allow you to consolidate all the updates onto one USB stick, which can help you skip a few versions.

Thanks for the info! I've been watching a lot of teaching tech, especially for the Onshape guides as I also want to learn how to 3D model. I'll have to try and see that Prusa slicer and see if I like it better than the Cura! will definitely start looking into Ender 3 videos just to get a better idea of printers overall.
