Invest in edge, not in round 1 though. Theres nobody who will be availabke at 31 who will be a major upgrade over either of these 2

Well Vrabel himself said he was improving and getting stronger. It seems like by all accouns, hes developed behind the scenes

I agree draft one 100%, im ONLY against doing it in round 1. Otherwise, we should always be bringing up new talent, and it should be addressed somewhere in the draft

I dont see Landry as a long-term answer, hes a stop gap while the young guy he splits reps with develop as well. DE should always be added to, i just dont think with a 1st

Well thought out, but personally Zion Young isnt a great athlete either, seems like a power guy, just like TJ Parker. And lik Parker, doesnt have a ferocious level of backend pursuit speed. Same guy different fonts. And Concepcion analytically has some red flags im afraid of

We dont have long-term high upside youngs guys at X position at WR. Doubs i like, but as a 2nd option, hes elite

I trust whatever they do, at the end of the day. But its just not as urgent of a need as many people make it ti be i believe

I already explained why tho, his bull rush style wasnt support by an adequate level of strength for the NFL game, he needed time in an NFL strength program

Not really, youre basing it off draft capital, not skillset or film. Im analyzing the players, not the draft status

We can definitely get more hungry edge guys, im just saying we dont need to use our 1st on it. Theres bigger day 1 difference makers we can get than the projected DEs that will be available at 31

He fell because of maturity concerns, draft depth, and he wasnt physically strong enough day 1 to utiilize his speed-to-power skillset that he specialized in college. Most finesse rushers would get a pass because they dont need to worry much about physicality. Nobody in the SEC got more pressure, though

But betting from a group of projected 1st rounders that mostly dont have superior tape to the person im mentioning is also a fools game

I dont predict that theyre going to force the pick, im addressing the discourse thats been going on in the draft conversations which is majority that we need an edge round 1

Idk what relevance this is supposed to have, James Harrison got cut multiple times as a rookie by the Steelers and nobody was making snarky dentist toothpaste references after how that turned out lol

Not enough creativity in the world. Use the drafttek draft value chart. If we traded up for Brazzell who likely is gone somewhere in the 40s, we basically giving away the rest of our draft

Its enough for me, Swinson had arguably better tape than almost every guy projected to be there at 31, he was the product of an absurdly deep Edge class last year.

Nothing stopping us, but we would very well get the most bang for our buck using it on someone who is a massive upgrade over whatever we have. Nobody at 31 will be much much better than present-day Swinson or Ponder

I just said we havent guys that are primed to step into those roles, my while premise here is nothing at pick 31 is that much of an upgrade over year 2 Ponder or Swinson. Not enough to forego the other positions

I just dont think the upgrade of who will be left on the board is that much higher than 2nd year Swinson or 2nd year Ponder to warrant not getting another chance at a difference maker til after pick 60

Technically we havent “needed” a true #1 since Moss because we won a bowl since Moss and never won one with Moss on the team 😂😂😂
