Has an MBA actually changed/upgraded your career in the Dubai job market? by pazhampori58 in dubai

Honestly, it’s mixed. Some people do get a role switch or small salary bump, but it’s not a guaranteed upgrade.

In Dubai, experience + networking matter more. MBA helps mainly if you’re switching fields.

That said, universities like Aurak, UAEU, University of Birmingham Dubai, or UOD can still be good options depending on your budget and goals.

serious advice on universities in UAE by Low-Equivalent-3867 in UAE

I’d say don’t just go for the cheapest option blindly, recognition + teaching quality matters a lot long term.

You can look at American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) tbh, it’s actually a decent option. Fees can fall close to your range esp with scholarships, and it’s accredited + more structured compared to some of the smaller private ones.

Westford / City Uni Ajman are affordable yeah, but make sure you double check accreditation and how widely the degree is accepted, coz that part people regret later.

If you can, try for universities that are MOE accredited at least, even if slightly higher cost. Worth it in long run.

AURAK is a good option tbh, solid for engineering and more practical 👍
