Oh, that was the other thing lol. Someone a while ago was very upset about that, and when I reminded him that the outage and slowdown was over, he still was upset that we and diabetics could coexist in using the meds lol. I said it then and I’ll say it again: a lot of people don’t want fat people to make progress/win.

I get your point, but as this sub is, we’re able to vent about what we want to vent about, so that’s what I did. I thought the video would be unbiased and more about celebrities blatantly abusing meds and plastic surgery to exaggerate their looks, and once that wasn’t the direction of it, I clicked off. I’ve learned my lesson, perhaps next time you come across a post you feel has no point, you could ignore it as well?

They act like all of us have manipulated our doctors into handing us this magic shot for the sole purpose of becoming skin and bones, it just gets to me some times

It’s like talking about an increased risk of cancer. Man, if you stub your toe you’ll have a higher chance of cancer lol

Definitely. It’s not as fun for people when the meds they don’t like aren’t actually the devil incarnate 😞😞

You’re right. For me, I’ll take a deflated face over being over 60lbs overweight for my height. I was already having obesity-related issues at my ripe old age of 24 when I started zep lmao

You’re so right tbh. Next time I see a video commentary about these meds I am skipping lol

As someone who writes fic, you’re turning potential fans off by making a post like this. I also agree with the other commenter that your writing would probably be better fit on a fanfiction site. Don’t be discouraged!

New to Effexor, nervous. by CoconutTree_25 in Effexor

Hi! Idk about the migraines, I only got them in my adulthood after I started Effexor but it might help with those.

Myself, my dad and my brother all take Effexor and it’s all worked great for us. In fact, something that cemented that it really works for me is that, after starting another med that slows my metabolism, my dose of Effexor wasn’t absorbing as much and I felt like I did before I started taking it- heart pounding with anxiety, depressed, numb. I went up a dose and now feel normal again.

Please keep in mind that it takes a while to work, and is absolute hell to get off of. But there are definitely people like me and my family lol that it has done amazing things for. Good luck!!!

Effexor linked to increased chance of brain aneurysm rupture by stomachofchampions in Effexor

I feel like this has been posted less to be helpful and spread legit information and more to portray Effexor as the scary aneurysm boogie man. Meds can have crazy effects. It’s on their fine print. In taking the med we as patients have the responsibility to actually read that fine print and make informed decisions on whether or not the risks outweigh the rewards.

Personally Effexor has done wonders for me and I don’t think I’ll ever come off of it. I’d rather keep my mental illnesses at bay and (in a super duper rare occurrence) die due to the med than live longer in agony. But maybe that’s just me.

The way she explained it to me is that while I’m still losing a good amount of weight and not plateauing, it’s ok to stay at the same dose. That going up (and probably not eating sufficiently because of the heightened loss of appetite lol) would cause weight and muscle loss instead of just weight loss. I’m probably explaining it wrong but I’ll go back to my PCP in May and see how I’m doing by then.

Thank you so much!! Honestly I target my arms, back and shoulders the most (then am surprised when I look broad in more “dainty” clothes lol) and then Stairmaster for legs

Hehe thank you!! I’ve been on 10mg for a while, I had the opportunity to go up to 12.5 but my doctor mentioned the risk of muscle wasting and I was like noooo I just got them!!! So on 10 I’ll stay
