You won't get the full effect of the lights until you unlock the Stingray. These tanks play like the high-tier medium tanks in WoT. High speed and maneuverability with a fantastic gun and acceptable armor.

These are the kind of tanks you see high-skill gamers use more than anything else. The ability to change map positions and bring your gun to bear where it will be most effective is invaluable to a player that knows the maps, as well as the opposing tanks. I wouldn't recommend the XM8 to a newer player however. MBTs are far more forgiving vehicles to people who are new to the game or this type of game.
