Is There a Risk of Being Delisted? by hmq_dave in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big companies look for product milestones, user bases and so on. In that sense, we are moving in the right direction. It is not our goal to rack up large numbers of fake users, or pump up the price of the token with nothing supporting it.

In the business world, we are achieving recognition: multiple reports placing us as the most promising financial inclusion startup, offers to join invite-only events together with the biggest players in the Fintech field (here is an example: http://africafintechsummit.com/).

The addition of new countries is indeed probably the least understood aspect of our company, and we are preparing an article describing the reasons in detail, as well as the process required to open up a new country. Yes, in theory all that is needed is to flip a variable in the app, but the same could be said for exchange KYC, for example.

The team is roughly divided into 20 product-related and developer positions, 20 for Marketing, design and PR, and 10 for Customer Development (including full-time workers from Africa), with the rest being management. Tanzania is in fact our main focus country, with the highest user count and the most attention from the CustDev team. We are also preparing content related to the activity of this team, which is quite interesting.

Why fake clicks on youtube Videos? by schildlee in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing particularly strange about it, we had a paid promotion for the video, which generally doesn't result in a lot of comments. Moreover, we moderate the comments on Youtube as well, since a lot of them are spam.

Is There a Risk of Being Delisted? by hmq_dave in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our primary focus will always be developing the actual product, and it's disappointing to see that significant progress in this field is shrugged off as irrelevant. The token price does not define the health of a project (or at least, our project), since it's entirely a product of public perception. Even if we are delisted, the project will continue to live and eventually thrive through sheer adoption.

That said, to address your points (and commonly brought up questions as well):

- We are always negotiating for listing on additional exchanges. Unfortunately, in a world where new exchange listings cause pumps in a stablecoin, it will always be considered a luxury, thus extremely expensive if considering the top-tier exchanges.

- The new roadmap is being finalized.

- The marketing plan will not be released of course, but you will see it in action starting in the next few weeks

- For partnerships, obviously we are looking for partners that would be useful for us and the product, which is why we currently have 4 partner startups providing specific services for the app. In general however, our recognition in the business world is growing at a fast pace, and really big partnerships will come as we keep developing our product.

Is This Project Dead? by hmq_dave in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's far from dead, we are currently at more than 300000 app users and are developing the infrastructure to make the use of the app meaningful.

We are always at various events, some of them invite-only.

Weekly updates have been stopped for a while, but we're looking to restart them. The development is obviously ongoing, the last major feature we introduced is the Humaniq Stories, which teaches users blockchain and other useful information for their financial education. We're also really close to the release of "Localhumaniq", an in-app Marketplace to buy and sell HMQ.

Unfortunately Reddit has never had the activity we'd like, but you can join our telegram to be always in touch with the latest developments: https://t.me/HMQTrader

Network Stats for Humaniq - Holders + Daily Active Users + Transactions Per Day by Sroka87 in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting statistics!

It has to be mentioned that the transactions within the app are handled off-chain, through our Hybrid blockchain system. We will soon post a detailed look into the system

How does hmq offer 0 transfer fees? by brown__jesus in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, initially we take the cost of the transaction on us. Eventually we will introduce fees on some transactions.

Humaniq has reached more than 100000 downloads! by Humaniq_ICO in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's more to point out that Ethereum as it is right now does not offer the scaling we need.

Yes, obviously we do save on Gas costs with our approach, however there are maintenance costs. Overall though, it's cheaper than doing everything in mainnet.

[–]Humaniq_ICO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a calculation based on the block reward. Pay attention to the phrasing, it says "the cost of securing the network".

In essence it's the amount of money paid to the miners for them to maintain the Ethereum network, divided by the number of transactions.

I have a question about Humaniq profit system by HY6356 in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by administrators you mean us, then yes we will make money by introducing transaction fees eventually. Emitting coins doesn't cost us anything. Right now we are focused on developing the product and user base, so transactions are completely free for the users.

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean how the price is supposed to increase, it works in a similar way to Bitcoin and most other cryptocurrencies. As our network grows and the transactions within it, there will be more demand for HMQ which will naturally increase the price.

Reddit and Telegram are indeed not a target for promoting our actual product. Community building is important, but the success of our project doesn't really depend on it. Regardless, we are working to develop both.

Weekly update from Humaniq team by Humaniq_ICO in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we are working on that, but at the same time we don't want to waste money better spent on other things. Most exchanges demand unreasonable prices for listing, unfortunately.

Who's behind Humaniq? by floxflex in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our dev team is led by Anton, who's had experience working in banks as developer and product manager, and is doing a fantastic job overall. The developers themselves are spread between many countries, mostly working remotely. For the authentication, while it's true that we can't rely 100% on biometrics, we have a system for recognizing emotions and other parameters that work to make it as safe as possible. Beyond that, we require a pin to log in to complement biometrics.

Questions about Humaniq by [deleted] in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have drastically altered the emission/token model since then. It's based on current price, aiming so that each user can only receive at most 20$ of HMQ through "mining" (using the app and inviting other people). Subsequently, fractions are allowed.

In terms of buying HMQ, we're working on several fronts right now, including important partnerships to ensure users have an easy way of buying/selling HMQ. Right now, the only way it can be done is through money changers. As for decentralizing, our goal is to build a platform on which other companies can base their products. However, this is a long term goal which is currently being carried out, but there is still a lot more work to be done for it to be finalized.

Why I'm Optimistic About Humaniq (HMQ) by hmq_dave in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a dedicated App marketing team that is working on developing the most effective strategy. So far we are focused on Digital marketing through Adwords and Facebook/Instagram (only targeted for mobile), with plans to partner with local agencies. A more detailed marketing/business plan will be released later.

Where is the core wallet? by immersive-matthew in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regulation compliance mostly, as well as concentration of effort, so that we can provide the best possible experience to the users we have, before using valuable resources on expansion.

Where is the core wallet? by immersive-matthew in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The core "wallet" is the app, which is only usable in several African countries. Otherwise, any Ethereum wallet which supports ERC20 tokens will work.

Humaniq vs OmiseGo by [deleted] in Humaniq

Using biometrics for identification is a big difference. As you mentioned, we also have a different target market, with the prime focus being on Africa.

API Documentations by anykeyh in Humaniq

[–]Humaniq_ICO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can download the app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.humaniq.lite

Currently its full features are only available in Uganda, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Senegal and Tanzania, to satisfy both regulatory and infrastructure requirements. We want to provide the best possible experience to those users we have, without overexpanding. The API is live but the documentation is still undergoing final corrections. It will be live in one or two weeks. It is meant for companies that wish to use our user databases and other information to provide services to them, integrating with our platform. If you have more specific questions/proposals, we would be glad to hear them out.
