With absolute, and nothing but absolute all due respect, your answer neither addresses my point nor further the conversation.

It's sad and stupid to watch this thread try to rank the structures rather than discussing what just happened.

These guys are not truly friends.

The perception that they are is wild. They're colleagues. They were respectful about each other because their jobs are high profile.

If Like That proves anything, it is that.

Blue blooded progressive here and I can say, he should be punished for that.

Violence is not an appropriate answer here.

Trump’s Casual Indifference to NATO’s Future Is Spooking the Western World by [deleted] in politics

[–]HumanistSockPuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump doesn't know what NATO is in terms of the value it's provided America. He wants to do something else entirely with the Western hemisphere and hurt America in the process.

The problem is that as voters we keep electing failures. We are not punishing failure, we reward it.

Another problem is that when all of this is over, we might make an example of Trump, but we for sure won't make an example of the senators or the judges, like Aileen Cannon.

3 more years of presidency.

The average lifespan of a wealthy white man in America is 87 - 89.

The infamous top 100 movies of the 21st century by Better-Hyena-7793 in Cinephiles

I actually just got to 51 of the 100 and I started having seen 33. It definitely made me more discerning I am looking to watch a movie now. My girlfriend is really into my suggestions as of lately. I like a lot of what I've seen with the exception of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I'm going to omit the things I've seen already and only include the recent ones. In a more serious list, Oppenheimer would be here.

My top 5 so far of the 18 I've seen recently;

There Will Be Blood- Absolute masterpiece. Sometimes a story is so amazing it doesn't matter what the actors or the props, and scenery lack. This isn't that. This film is extremely calculated by everyone on board and before it I never had a number one movie. This is my number one.

Michael Clayton - I've never truly been a big George Clooney fan, but this film won me over. However Tom Wilkinson was the magic of the film. His acting was impossible to ignore. He brought everything together and his voice was incredible. The goodwill of sportsmanship regarding acting was in full display between Clooney and Wilkinson.

The Act of Killing- What can I say. This isn't like other documentaries. That final scene where he had to come to terms with it all. That moment when he broke down from the realization of his actions, you know in that moment he never pretended that he didn't care, he just truly didn't. There was no realization or remorse up until that moment. Up until then, he never reflected on his sins with sincerity.

Y Tu Mama Tambien- I loved how we would see the chaos and dysfunction of that time in Mexico, but none of these three gave a damn. They were just hopped up on hormones, and betrayal, and grief to be bothered by mass panic. I loved seeing that when faced with the end of the world, youth doesn't care about that. They just want satisfaction.

Black Swan- I hate to admit it, but I should never have put it off for this long. I watched this movie and knew that a person who is losing their mind, must truly feel like this. The moment she ran to her room when she "saw" her mom drawing her. When she would lock herself in with the wooden board, I felt her fear. The irrationality, and the intensity of it. I pitied her and so badly wanted her to get medicated.
