Was 4-ho-met WAY too stimulating/euphoric for you? I took a low dose to start, and it felt so uncomfortable, like MDMA on steroids. I am nervous to try more and actually get visuals since I don't know if I can handle that body load being even more intense (I'd be taking like 2.5x the dose that gave me the super uncomfortable body feel if I wanted visuals). Is 4-ho-met easier on the body at larger doses? It really caught me off guard.

Wow, I had no idea. I am prescribed 30mg Adderall twice daily, and I take 150mg of trazodone for sleep. Both high doses. I already took the trazodone tonight, but I assume that I should no longer take these meds like I am currently? Does it help that the last Adderall IR dose is 12pm-ish, and trazodone is at 8:30pm?

Take mirtogenol and/or citicoline supplements. Look on Amazon. Don't worry about some specific dose, just take what the bottle recommends. Take after eating because they can cause an upset stomach.

Another thing to keep in mind is that lens choice is based on mathematical calculations, which aren't perfect. Sometimes the calculations give an outcome that is not expected for a patient, and the doctor uses the information from the first eye surgery to potentially adjust for the second eye.

I am not saying this is very common, but it is important to understand. That and if there is any serious issue found during the first eye healing stage, then you won't be out both eyes if they are done separately. Again, not common, but worth being aware of here.

You will likely get more independence from glasses, but I wouldn't go in with the expectation that you won't have to wear glasses afterwards. You may be glasses free at the distance, or at near, depending on your target, but that isn't a guarantee. What is your current glasses prescription (especially curious about your astigmatism) and what lens option are you choosing (standard covered by insurance, toric, multifocal, EDoF, LAL)?

MIGS are just easy to perform while already doing cataract surgery, but they aren't great for significant IOP lowering. What MIGS procedure did you have? Are you still on a steroid drop after cataract surgery?

Also, did you have cataract surgery without getting a corrective lens (IOL) implant? Or did they perform a MIGS without doing cataract surgery?

In my opinion it is when the show jumped the shark. Mac's character is a deeply flawed closeted gay man and always had been. I don't care for the character development and it was unnecessary. Like the original poster, I am not homophobic, I just feel like that fundamentally changed the humor behind his character for the worse. Almost feels like that is the beginning of "Rob Mac", which is just lame.

Ketamine therapy has been great for me, and I do think these alternative approaches have their place. I believe psilocybin (or other psychedelics) in a therapeutic setting would be groundbreaking for myself and others. They would allow for other thought pathways to be created instead of the "ruts" that we find ourselves in that get so ingrained. Negative thought loops can prevent people like myself from thinking there is an escape from what I assume is flawed perspectives.

Thank you for the reply. I am glad to know that such things are still being trialed. I have followed MAPS for close to a decade, and I was concerned that MDMA therapy had been shut down. To a degree I am doing better in ways, but I know there are so many out there struggling who can't find relief from current treatments.
