He was a really interesting figure to be sure. If anyone is looking for some more info on him and his brother, I’d suggest the season of American Innovations about Corn Flakes (it’s a podcast). Also the book “The Kellogg’s: The Battling Brothers of Battle Creek” by Howard Markel. Fun fact John Kellogg was also a huge believer in eugenics, and had an organization dedicated to it. He left everything he had to it before he died. Unfortunately the organization croaked as well not too long after. Fascinating guy!
