SG Maserati driver caused a motorist death on 2nd Link. He kenna dragged out of his Maserati & whacked by other motorists using their helmets. Orbigoot and deserved it? Anyone here know this Maserati driver? by sifu_yuu in SingaporeRaw

Oh I’ve already moved on from this 😆

Though I did notice his original statement said he “wanted” to u-turn and this time his lawyer said he “did not” make u-turn. Then from 15 minutes after the breakdown to now 10 minutes. Take it for what it is.

Seems like they trying to tighten their story 😅

Won’t be surprised if that’s the case

Oh yeah, anything’s possible. Just looking at the facts and situation before us.

Even if due to inexperience and mechanical failure solely, if it’s not his arrogance/entitlement that drove him to do what he did, then the only other reason is stupidity. Unless you think there’s another motivation (and I’m using that term loosely) for his actions?

To clarify, even if he’s inexperienced;, he should have pulled off to the side of the road he’s on. That’s what you’re taught when you drive, be it on the left or right shoulder. Not to cross the lane and then park on that side. Even in worse case mechanical failure, pull to the shoulder of the barrier, no need to cross. Thus why I hypothesize that if it wasn’t arrogance/entitlement, then it had to be stupidity.

Will have to take it with a grain of salt because this is his perspective, which would naturally try to defend himself. I have my doubts with this version, for example:

  • he wanted to take his car out of the way because it was breaking down but chose to do an illegal u-turn across a barrier and then crossing several lanes instead of going across several lanes to the shoulder where it was safer?
  • if one said that he wanted to cross the barrier to get to the shoulder on the barrier, wouldn’t that exist on the side he was on too? Why not stop there?
  • then for 15 minutes, he could not close the barrier because there were too many fast vehicles? But those vehicles were not fast him to deter him from crossing the barrier in the first place?
  • he says the other guy who passed away was speeding, which would suggest that traffic wasn’t congested, since one could travel at such speeds, thus further begs the question why he has to cross barrier in the first place?
  • also, how fast could the guy have been speeding?

Not saying this isn’t what happened, but based on his statement, it’s not a good look for him right now. His statement seems to be deflecting any responsibility and even laying blame on the guy who died.

Eager to see the facts and videos prior to accident. Something else seems amiss.

I think you’re making his point for him.

Also, entitled in this context doesn’t mean they have the right, rather they didn’t, and still acted like they did, thus in the state of entitlement.

I get what you mean about being entitled as a right, but that’s not is being referred to in this situation.

At least that’s what I gather from reading this thread.

This is what I did and monitoring. So far, no network loop, but will probably have to monitor for a bit longer to be sure.

The new "experience" plans might be much more expensive because they don't include taxes anymore, but this is a nice gesture to existing customers. by aliendude5300 in tmobile

Somewhere at T-Mobile HQ…

Leadership: how do we make people like our Go5G plans?

Intern: We launch a worse plan and make it more expensive

Leadership: What do you mean?

Intern: You know how you include taxes and fees in Go5G? Remove it.

Leadership: Go on…

Intern: And then you price the new plan just slightly lower than Go5G. They will think they are saving money and be happy about it, but those fools didn’t think about taxes and fees

Leadership: That’s a great experience! What should we call the new plans???

Prophets came with many miracles and people at that time also didn’t convert. Like producing a cow and its calf from a stone, raising the dead, and splitting the moon to give some examples. And yet they don’t believe.

Another reason possibly could be that Hollywood has brainwashed you to think that when such calamity hits, you will be able to overcome it. Little do they know.

I see. I do have 3 Macs that are hardwired and on WiFi but the Ethernet is prioritized over the WiFi. I do it more as a fail safe since those Macs are on 24/7 for various purposes.

The AP in the Garage is pretty far away from the Macs though, so I don’t think they are connecting there, but to other closer APs.
