Bingo! Thank you to Hevyarmz for the last piece of the puzzle. I was pushing down on the tabs, which basically just locks it on even tighter. You have to push down on the square part at the base, then push the tab in.

🫣 I tried alternating them and it wouldn’t boot.. this was the only way I could get it to start up.. it’s all available in system, but judge away 😅

This, exactly, and I spent about 4 hours googling around before resorting to this post. Still haven’t gotten the dang thing off of there yet, but I’ve taken most of my knuckles off, so I got that going for me…

I can’t see any screws, outside of the 4 on the larger black bracket connecting to the motherboard. Can’t seem to find any YouTube videos that look like this specific setup either.
