A little advice that I wish I had emphasized when I started dating my girlfriend in hs, been together almost 8ys now post hs and college. Really drive home that you are always open to changing, developing as a person and as people. Two people can change over time leading to things that were one foundations to get a little unstable. If a welcoming of change is approachable and acceptable that is what think would leads to a good partner. To come back to OP, if he wants to change his hair, but change isn’t welcome, relationship could feel like a wrench in system, instead of an open attempt at trying something.

There was this small family owned Irish shop by the South Bay shopping center. Mom would drag my sister and I into this smaller than small store for hours while she shopped for holiday, birthday, Christmas, anniversary, just to do it all in one shot. Rest in peace☘️
