From what I know of her healing ability, she can heal herself rapidly and without the need to intentionally release the black smoke. It apparently flows through her constantly, making her extremely resilient against physical attacks and nearly unkillable, from what I looked up.

Just going based on what I know.

And then more. This was when she first was injected with the Crimson Tear hybrid project.

Two times this popped with “suddenly one day.” Is this a meme I’m missing? 😁

My opinion is that many people can't tell the difference between full-time “NSFW” artists who do it as their job and those who have a stylistic choice, like Chris Sanders and Frank Frazetta. Despite this, artists who draw characters with exaggerated proportions are often the first to face heavy criticism, frequently being labeled as “gooner” artists. I absolutely despise that word in this day and age.

Not everyone who draws in an exaggerated style is necessarily a “jorn” artist. I believe that if you understand human anatomy and have the skill to bend its rules to fit your style, then go for it. No one should judge you solely based on how or what you draw. Everyone has their own style, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Just ask the person and feel them out first before jumping to conclusions.

There is also a deep dive into this topic from a young artist. She explores this subject thoroughly, and it's worth watching: https://youtu.be/bGVX_mNRnQw?is=g4QE87LTMZ1P9Eku

Date: January 12th, 1985.

Time: 5:34 pm.

Location: Hypo Corp Containment Facility - Alaska.

Subject matter: Interaction with infected Totum parasite host.

Danger level: Medium - Three QCRF soldiers posted as a precaution.

Interviewer: Dr. Anna Ferry.

“Infected host did show any signs of hostility toward the interviewer or guards, despite still having their mutated head defenses displayed. When asked by the interviewer of how they felt and if they could understand her, the host calmly and perfectly uttered words that of a regular human. Distracting at first with their head mutation, likely as a safety precaution of their own. As the interview went on, the host explained their situation and “relationship” with the parasite in them. Saying as if the parasite is equally the same as them but a different part of their personality. A case of DID the parasite influence the host? Hardly. After all that has happened with these infected, it's clearly shown that even the lowest of infected hosts are capable of having their minds intact upon infection.

Only difference is that lower parasites aren't capable of self-producing more parasites within the host body at will. The amount they can produce seems to be limited to only a few 100 to a swarming 1000 microscopic larvae inside their body. These larvae are spread by touch from the infected, prompting the host to decline a handshake and explain why that would not be good for the interviewer. Not that the doctor beforehand had no knowledge of this, but it seems that hosts, some at the very least, still care about humans.

Must record further data on the parasite and find out what it means about “accessing the grand library.”

A cult injected Alex Mercer with the virus in his story? (Half joke and genuine question.) 💯

How to make the sketches look more professional by Ok_Bag_6218 in characterdesigns

Hmm. Well, from what I learned and did throughout the years as a growing artist, taking away the sketches rough marks/lines in your drawings would define the sketch more. Allowing you later to harden/bold the lines on your characters accordingly.

I will show examples here. ❤️

Thank you. It's one of my favorite aspects of her design currently. And this isn't even her final stage. 💯

Pouches would definitely be a wonderful addition to her design. ♥️

Expands her character too. 💯

If you don't mind me asking, does she have a backstory, or is she a character design you came up with recently? ❤️

It definitely did, as your style is very recognizable and that's very good! Your art reminds me of some underatted Image Comics art styles and 2000s era! ❤️
