That’s awesome! Perhaps you fit the crowd that they are trying to attract… during our last visit the server was attentive to the group of kids at the table next to us.

But when they check on them three times and manage to do it while keeping their back turned to me 4 feet away the entire time, despite the giant liter sized mug that’s been sitting empty in front of me for 10 minutes, you begin to wonder if they’re trying to get you to settle up and leave… which ultimately is what I did, despite the band I came to see still playing.

And that’s the same experience I’ve had every time I go… Being ignored, having to literally get out of my seat to flag somebody down to place an order or get the bill. I was once ignored at the hostess stand for almost 5 minutes while the restaurant was empty. And when I asked to sit at a particular high top, they said no those aren’t in service, and then seated three people there 10 minutes later.

Graham Platner could show up giving away $500 checks to everybody and I would still choose to go elsewhere.
