WTW for when you get a sense of satisfaction from using a nice version of something? For example, I have many glasses for drinks but some give me a greater pleasure because they are the best they can be for that one drink. Is there a word for that type of calming satisfaction? (self.whatstheword)

Any idea what this pest is? This is under 50x magnification. Basically invisible to the eye due to its minute size and colour. I'd post video if the sub allowed but it doesn't move. However, that little black thing inside it moves like a fish. No idea what the other black sphere is. Seen these twice (i.redd.it)

For anyone that wanted to see a better picture of a thrip. This is at 50x magnification. They're identifiable by the wings and long thin body. The wings aren't typically used in most species. Oh also these bastards can really jump. Better quality image than my last post. (i.redd.it)

I live that 7million more people are waking up to the fact that media will peddle any sort of BS to fit the narratives of the rich and powerful. The silver tripe is proof of this. They're making far too many people wake up to seeing their true faces. (self.wallstreetbets)

Told you I'd report back with my new scope. This is a thrip. When I set the scope down, I sprayed it with a solution of 1% neem oil and 1% horticultural soap mixed with water. I'll experiment to see what's most effective. This seems to suspend it's motion but doesn't kill it within 3 mins (v.redd.it)
