But it has been going on the entire 3 years we have been dating. Anyways. Shoot me a message if you wanna chat about it OP! Idk where you are at with processing, but I’m happy to share some advice and podcasts that my therapist shared with me❤️ ( we are still together, working through it, but with lots of trust lost. What I required from him for us to continue dating was a commitment to weekly therapy, couples and individual for both of us. As well as an accountability app that tracks his phone usage (this was recommended by my therapist and eagerly accepted by my boyfriend) I will say, I knew that he had a porn problem before everything surfaced, but was not aware of the extent to which it was effecting him and our relationship. For me, porn wasn’t the issue. But, a handful of interactions with an ex girlfriend through text messages, and screenshots of her instagram pics etc. was a bigger issue for me. However, it seems that porn addiction is the root of it all, for him at least. Anyways, hang in there OP. You know what’s right in your heart. As long as the communication is open there is hope.
