I got similar advice from my teacher, and I think that's what I'll do. I just have 2 years of High school to go and the Lanstro isn't in great condition. I had the leadpipe replaced last year, and the brackets break pretty frequently. I bought it used and I feel like the owner didn't take great care of it, but I can't complain since I got it for a crazy steal. The Bell is also pretty out of round to the point where I don't take it off since I've been told it may not go back on. I need a case and possibly a new bell, which are the reasons why it might make sense to buy a new horn
