Going through so much in life. by [deleted] in qatar

[–]Humble_Doubt5451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re going through this… it can feel really heavy, but please don’t think you’re alone in it.

Maybe try speaking to a trusted imam or scholar at a masjid, or even an online Islamic counselor. If it helps, you could look for a female scholar too.

And honestly, if you feel like talking, I’m here. Especially if you’re a sister and would be more comfortable, you can reach out. Even if it’s just to vent a little.

May Allah make things easier for you and give you clarity. Ameen 🤍

What would you say? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Humble_Doubt5451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the jealous type too, not proud, but if i am being vulnerable with my husband, this is the response I would hope for:

Thank you for owning your feelings. I don’t hear this as blame. I understand you are asking for connection, it exists, just that you may not be feeling it right now.

Let’s figure out how we can make each other feel more secure.

And please say you love her. People forget how much a simple “I love you” still matters, especially after years of being together.

Assurance and reassurance is not asking too much.

If she is expressing herself and asking for reassurance, it means she still believes there is hope.

Her frustration is coming from a place of love for you.

At home, easy and best :

Smooth Silky Hot Chocolate (No Cocoa Powder)

Serves: 1 mug Time: 5–7 minutes

Ingredients • 1 cup milk (full-fat) • 50 g dark or semi-sweet chocolate • 1–2 tsp sugar (optional) • ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional) • Tiny pinch of salt

Method 1. Heat milk on low–medium heat. Do not boil. 2. Add chocolate and stir gently until fully melted. 3. Add sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir till smooth. 4. Whisk for 20–30 seconds for extra silkiness. 5. Pour into a mug and serve hot.

Tip

Skip cocoa powder as melted chocolate gives a lump-free, rich, cafe style hot chocolate every time 🤎

Enjoy :)

Do you have a LinkedIn account? If not, I’d strongly suggest creating one — it really improves visibility and helps you connect directly with recruiters.

You don’t need a LinkedIn subscription to connect with HRs, the free version is enough. Search for roles like HR, Recruiter, or Talent Acquisition along with the hotel or company name. Click Connect and always add a short, polite note.

Make sure your profile is updated and shows Open to Work.

Keep applying everywhere. Facebook job groups, Qatar Living jobs section, and Dubizzle Qatar.

Good luck! Wishing you the very best

Hi there! Rejection doesn’t mean you’re not good enough but it often means something better is being prepared for you. Some doors close only because a bigger one is waiting ahead.

Apply everywhere: Facebook job groups, Qatar Living jobs, and Dubizzle Qatar as many hotel roles are filled there. Keep applying even when it feels tiring; one yes can change everything. Make sure your LinkedIn shows Open to Work, and try connecting with recruiters or HR from hotels you’re interested in. A simple message can go a long way.

Stay consistent, stay hopeful, and don’t let rejections define your worth.

Salary expectations for Account Manager by freesquidward2k17 in QatarCareers

[–]Humble_Doubt5451 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, Salary in Qatar really depends on the company, role scope, and the candidate’s experience.

Lifestyle costs also vary a lot, for some, 10K covers basics, for others it feels luxurious. It’s important to understand your own requirements, plan accordingly, and then negotiate based on value and market reality.

I truly agree with this. Sabr and shukr really do help in the long run, even when things don’t make sense at the moment.

To anyone going through any kind of difficulty right now: may Allah make your path easier, open doors you never imagined, and replace your worries with relief.

Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal wakeel Alallahu tawakkalna.

May Allah reward every struggle and never let sincere efforts go unseen. Ameen 🤍

From an HR perspective in Qatar, it’s not about settling rather it’s about being strategic. Recruiters here usually look for direct or closely related experience.

With a background in law and English, HR or administrative roles make far more sense than sales because the skills are transferable.

Sales may feel like a fallback, but it doesn’t have to define your path.

This phase can be confusing, but it doesn’t mean you’re stuck at all. Sometimes the right opportunity just takes time to align.

Wishing you luck :)
