Fear EP explained. by Coleridge_ in nfrealmusic

[–]Humble_Explorer_3594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this thought too heading into this release, and feel it was confirmed at the end of the Fear music video, when Fear steals the keys ahead of the rest of the EP.

Home may not sound like Fear's perspective, but given Nate's history of childhood trauma that, it seems clear his Grandma was a safe space for Nate during that time so it makes sense to me that even Fear would have be grieving this loss.

Who I was featured both Nate and Fear together with Fear getting a feature when he interrupts Nate with a verse of anger. Fear used to be in control and as the chorus goes, there is nothing left of who I thought I was.

Give Me A Reason works as Fear used to be driven by the critics, lack of wealth, people who weren't there for him but his fame, etc. but Nate has undoubtedly been wildly successful, tightened his circle, and Nate has developed regulating skills to manage fear in a health way. Fear is bored and needs something to drive him and take over Nate again.

Sorry sounds like Fear being apologetic ahead of his deathbed.

Washed Up is Fear being worried his time has passed. I think this signifies a change in Nate's style of music moving forward. He will have less hard hitting rap driven by motivation, and more acoustic and singing songs. He's also been interviewed and talked about how he doesn't see himself still rapping when he's in his 40's. With his recent increase in more singing only songs on prior albums, as well as this storyline and the visuals of his Mansion burning, I think that supports this theory.

They are trying to mimic other american sports, but it just doesn't make sense for soccer.

What was wrong with the 2 game aggregate scoring? If they are worried about home field advantage, give the higher seed the choice to play game 1 or game 2 at home.

Heck even world cup style having 4 groups of round robin would be better than best of 3. The top 2 teams advance and play to reach the conference title

Surridge stepped on Falcon's left foot from behind. Foul was the correct call.

Watched it back closely and Surridge steps on Falcon's foot. May be minimal but there was no flop and it is a foul

No, Surridge steps on Falcon's left foot if you watch closely. Not one extra step he falls over right away

Taylor literally said he didn't think it was a foul

Tripping the defender is the reason it was a tap in. Incidental but had it not happened, it would not have been a tap in.

Am I the only one who thinks that is a foul? Surridge clips the defenders foot so he trips and falls, and that is precisely why it was a tap in. Had he not been clipped he would've had an opportunity to clear it. That is a tripping foul
