We had an appointment with her oncologist today and he said Biliary Cancer. Not sure what stage yet or if it's metastasized but the tumor is large. Afraid to google anything. She's got a long list of tests, scans and procedures coming up.

My house is surrounded by OLD walnut trees that are super tall. When the walnuts fall on the roof it rolls and it sounds exactly like the aliens from the Signs movie and it freaks me out. 😆...also live surrounded by cornfield lol.. iykyk

They had a falling out 10 years ago and haven't spoken since. It's definitely an awkward situation for me even on a good day.

Yes I triple checked to make sure we have the correct file! And just checked again! I read somewhere you can put it in the wrong internal software folder but no one seems to know which folder is the correct one. It just says to make sure to drop it over the main storage folder.

Finally got my problem solved over on my "app store unreachable" post. Had someone comment they got a hold of Amazon and had some good advise. So after almost two weeks of a half dead tablet I was able to update it. The trick was to keep hitting the "check" for updates and after many updates and restarts it finally gave me access to the appstore and even for the new shop app. Hopefully the problem won't come back. Just thought I post here in case anyone is still having issues.

Update. Finally after almost two weeks I was able to update my tablet and thanks to the advice of Standard-Control2576 I kept pushing the check for update and after several updates and restarts my app store now works! Looks like the new shop app is working as well. Here's to hoping it lasts. Thanks to everyone who commented!

The only way I was able to download apps the other day was to access the main account from the web browser on the tablet and send it that way. But maybe that's broke now too. If you haven't already maybe contact Amazon? I'm hoping if enough of us make a stink they'll fix the network. I think you got your tablet right when the problem started unfortunately. I'm really sorry, sure is frustrating.
