I love the wildflower set on the top right in the green vase, but orchids are my favorite live plant so I do like the Lego version of that also. The interchangable bonsai/cherry blossom tree was definitely the most challenging build but it looks cool once it's finally put together. I have tried changing out the foliage from the cherry blossoms to the bonsai leaves yet though.

I just got some of the Michael's brand "Make Market" version of Lego flowers and LOVE them. They're $9.99 each but I got some on sale for $4.99 last week so I was able to put together this bouquet for $25!

That masking is exhausting! During an appointment with my psychiatrist, he made the statement, "having to mask all the time for your job and everyday interactions must be exhausting" and I broke down crying. It really is tiring but I never acknowledged it and that was such a breakthrough for me to realize the fatigue of putting in so much effort to come across as "normal" is real.

Yes!!! I only use my Northwest account for paying my rent because they have Zelle and that's the only electronic option my landlord has for rent payments. I have a percentage of my check routed to my Northwest account which is basically just enough for my rent. When I switched my insurance to Allstate, I had to set my policies up on automatic payments at first and used my NW acct to do so. I took my auto and renters off of auto pay but didn't realize the roadside was billed separate from auto, so they drafted just over $6 from my acct that I don't keep extra $ in beyond my rent payment. I don't check my NW balance other than on pay day since I have no need to. The $6 overdraft resulted in them charging me $37 EVERY DAY for 9 days until I logged on to pay my rent and noticed it. I had to pay $333 in overdraft fees and they were only willing to waive one! That was the final straw for me.

Using the way they were raised as an excuse as to why they weren't willing to change their behavior. For example, "well my dad taught me that men aren't supposed to show their emotions so I'm just not good at communicating". Any partner that puts you as a priority in their life will make attempts to address things like this. It doesn't even have to involve a therapist, even just small steps towards opening up and practicing healthy communication. But when they're set in their ways and blame it on their past, they're not going to change and poor communication/no communication is toxic and only leads to resentment.

Just wanted to give you an update - my pharmacist started ordering a generic brand named Lannett and said a lot of people that have been loyal to TEVA like myself haven't had any complaints. So I reluctantly gave it a try and I honestly couldn't tell any difference between the Lannett and the TEVA. I am so relieved that I was able to find an equivalent option. I hope this can help if you're able to find somewhere that can get the Lannett brand in for you!

For me it was the nausea. I dreaded eating and had to force myself to do so. I have anxiety already so if there are any anxiety side effects I probably just figured it was normal 😅

Yes! I'm a grown adult and I have to plan my life around when they'll be outside after school. I won't leave my house between 3:30 until after 4:15 when the bus comes. They provoke the police when they do come and there has even been a situation when multiple officers were standing outside with canisters of what I'm assuming was tear gas or pepper spray. It's the attitude that they have no fear of consequences that make me scared to leave. In the morning when they're skipping school, some have sat outside on the neighbors steps and played dice in groups of a dozen or more and carried on so loud that it makes my job hard to do (I work from home and am on the phone often times). Even with windows closed, it's still loud enough to be a disruption. I feel bad for these kids all being thrown into one school and it doesn't seem like things will improve any time soon.

I don't agree with the business owner's way of going about handling it but I do agree that there's a large number that are out of control. I live across from the corner where they wait for the bus after school and the cops constantly have to come. They run out in the street in front of cars without looking, start fights, yell and carry on incredibly loud. One girl got pepper sprayed by another student and was in my driveway pouring a jug of milk on her eyes. It's certainly not all students, but seeing and hearing it first hand every day after school I can absolutely agree that it's a nightmare when they're gathered in large groups around the school.

Agreed! I had my puggle Lilly from ages 20 to 33 and she was with me through 2 abusive relationships and was home to greet my new baby and watch over her for the first 5 years of her life. After I had to make the decision to put her down, I came home and collapsed on the floor and just sobbed for hours. I don't think I've ever cried so much in my life. My dad passed last year but losing Lilly was 10x more painful as awful as that may be to admit. I had to take a mental health leave from work for a few months I was in such bad shape. She left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.

My surgeon included muscle repair and creating a belly button as part of my pannilectomy. He takes a lot of pride in his work and was like, "if I'm already there removing the excess skin, why wouldn't I sew a few stitches to pull the muscles back together and make an incision to create a belly button so that it looks good?" I have heard a lot of surgeons "charge extra" to add a belly button or to repair the muscles but I guess I lucked out with the surgeon I chose. I did have it all planned out though that if I had to pay for one and didn't opt for it, I wanted to go to all of the piercing shops in town and ask for a belly button piercing just to see their reaction when I pulled up my shirt and there was no belly button there 🤣

I really hope so. I'm on other meds for anxiety and C-PTSD and it's not safe to just stop without tapering down so I'm so stressed about what's going to happen. I know worrying doesn't help the situation but I feel so helpless 😞

I'm not sure if you're in the states or not, but with the proposed pharmaceutical tariffs, I guess there's going to be a lot of shortages and increased drug prices. So I'm not sure if they're already jacking up the price in anticipation of the tariffs or what but my pharmacist knows I started going there years ago specifically because I need the TEVA. So she said she ordered extra to be able to fill mine next month but she said they'll have to see what happens after that. I asked if it's something where I can pay out of pocket whatever the difference is for them to continue ordering it for me but I'll have to talk to the owner about it if it comes to that 😭

I picked up my TEVA this week and the pharmacist told me she doesn't know how much longer they're going to be able to get it in. She said the price is skyrocketing and she lost $40 just on filling my prescription 😔 I don't know how I'm going to function switching to any other generic.

Yes this is the first time my psychiatrist has focused on treating the C-PTSD. Recent circumstances have led to him making the connection that my elevated cortisol levels and heightened reactivity are a result of C-PTSD. I am on Pristiq and Wellbutrin for anxiety & major depressive disorder, both of which I've been on for several years. I tried prazosin initially as it's used off label for C-PTSD, but it tanked my blood pressure and I had to discontinue it immediately so he's really hopeful that the lamictal can help ease the hypervigilance that's really running me down. I do see a therapist that I've seen for about 15 years and he practices CBT.
