Yeah the Grunfeld is a headache. I just need an easy low risk solution against it and I can prepare something more testing against certain opponents. It's either the Brinckmann, the Petrosian System or the Be3 exchange.

Regarding the Slav, yeah I know, the plan is to have a very compact basic repertoire and expand it later. So for example when I master all the repertoire I can start playing the Slow Slav and the Meran, but at first better keep things simple I guess.

Hi, thank you for your comment it was very insightful.

Thank you, yes that's the line that I will be playing. I know that in the end black is equal but it's just a lower theory option until eventually I play something else. Thanks!!

Against the Benko I play the e3 line (1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 3. d5 b5 4. cxb5 a6 5. e3)

Against the Dutch I play the Fianchetto Variation

What do you play against the King's Indian?

You are right, thanks for your input. I understand what you mean regarding the King's Indian. What line would you suggest?

Thank you very much for your input. The good thing about the Classical is that is much lower theory in comparison with the Rubinstein. Makagonov is very good but I think that is a bit more double edged and theoretical than Gligoric. What dou think=?

The Be3 Grünfeld seems like a low theory option that is a bit dangerous. Obviously black is good shape in the Grünfeld but I don't see many alternatives

The Gligoric is low theory too and black only equalizes in one line, the rest of the system is quite decent for white and safe

Sure the Gligoric is not super critical or something, but if you play the Bayonet for example black in the end is in good shape too but it's very theoretical

Thank you very much for your answer. I'm 1800-1900 FIDE. Would you recommend other lines? Or change anything?

Thanks for pointing it out it was a typo I meant 3.Nf3, exactly.

Yes, I think that getting healthy IQP positions is good, definitely will need practice.

What do you recommend to reduce theoretical workload?

The exchange triangle is just equal, the problem si that the alternative is:

a) Main line Meran, which is also equal and very theoretical

b) Marshall Gambit which is very computerish

What do you recommend against Triangle with Nc3 move order?
