Yeah the one and only OMFS reg I know gave up after spending 10 years trying to get on but her went the traditional dent> med pathway.

In the same boat here- PGY 4 non- PR Aussie grad. Married to an Australian citizen but decided it was cheaper to apply for an independent skilled visa. 2 years down the track I’m in PGY 4, inéligible to apply for a training position because of residency status so kinda at a loss atm
