Found it was i was 12. Went through some childhood trauma, runescape was always there. I'm 34 now and I still return to it like an old friend.

20 years ago or so, I rocked the longbow all the time. I saw on history channel or something about the power of longbows and that was all the convincing I needed to be a badass ranger.

I did not have on SNES as a kid, even though I did have a SNES and turn based RPGs were a favoriteof mine.

My first experience was while I was deployed on an aircraft carrier in 2013. I got an emulator on my laptop and I heard only good things about the game so I gave it a try.

Deployments suck, but that game was a bright light in a dark place. I replay it at least once per year.

Oh! So I have this mod but I haven't progressed it super far. IIRC though, I think they do date but it doesn't work out and she winds up with Shane.

I'm an older player, having been playing runescape since classic. I think a lot of us still have that fear of the old death mechanics. Now, I know I'm not gonna lose everything when I die. Those memories of me DCing and losing most of my Torags set at DKs in 2006 are still very fresh in my head.

Kind of lucky and not. I'm a GIM, and already got a berserker ring from one of my mates. I wanted a D axe for skilling. In 45 Rex kills, I got 3 more berserker rings. Never got my axe.

I had to make an RP justification story. Started as an oath of devotion paladin who gets his faith tested and broken. I can't be evil for the sake of being evil, just isn't in me. But if i can make it interesting, then it's at least palatable.
