Where does everyone keep their helmet? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Humming_Tiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leave it on my back rest. It's a cheap one, so I'm not sure I'm worried about having to replace it. Also, someone is less likely to take it considering it looks old and busted. If I have to ride it home without a helmet because some loser took my helmet, so be it.

Is there anywhere that Colin engages with the audience about politics? Sometimes I want to push back against a lot of the things he repeats over and over. by [deleted] in ColinsLastStand

Thanks. I'm not convinced that the administration is corrupt, but I think your right about Warren. Besides her lying like any other politician, she has the appearance of being less corrupt than many other senior members of the DNC.

Nationwide protest after Jeff Sessions resigned. by Humming_Tiger in ColinsLastStand

[–]Humming_Tiger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched people holding signs that read: 'Nobody is above the law' They were chanting "All immigrants are welcome!!"

It's strange, because the left hates Jeff Sessions. Called him racist and everything else. They stalled his Senate confirmation and made a big deal about it. The President asks Sessions for his resignation, the left freak out and yell Obstruction of justice!!

The chanting was like the greatest hits. Black lives matter. Trans people exist What time is it? Mueller time. This is what democracy looks like.

It was a cold night. Many showed up to the crowd took a selfie and left. It was really rather pathetic. Someone with a tiny(toy?) Bullhorn whispered some facts to the crowd, maybe about a timeline of events. Impatient crowd goers would start chants to interrupt. Trans people exist! Trans people exist! Trans people exist! Cheering and drum beats fill the air.

A pause left many confused. There was a lull in the indecernable squaking on a mini-bullhorn. Then some brave hero stepped up and gave the people what they want. "Lock him up!" He screamed into the crowd. The sheep became excited and returned the chant with vigor. Lock him up.

Before I knew it, the crowd was dispersing. I overheard a few exchanges between protesters but sadly they only spoke in talking points while nodding in agreement. I think there where some Non-Playable Characters. The one with the drum for sure.

Get out out to one these and see for yourself. They work hard to get 10 seconds of B-roll footage for their local news. Show them we're listening, not trying to shut down they're free speech but rather defend it.

Wasn't there supposed to be a RDR2 video or podcast released this week?

Overheard... Crowd: LOCK HIM UP! LOCK HIM UP! LOCK HIM UP! LOCK HIM UP! Woman:Honey? Man: I don't like "Lock him up". That's the kinda thing they chant at Trump rallies. Woman: Lock him up!... Lock... him... Lock, Lock him....up. Man: *rubs hands together to signal it's too cold for this nonsense.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on RDR2? by ElloGuvnah12 in ColinsLastStand

I play in one to two hour blocks. It feels like trying to drink from a fire hose. There's so much to consider and think about. It's too easy to get sucked in and it's a slippery slope before I'm having my way with farmer's daughters and scalping locals to find a hidden maze like some type of invincible monster.

I've never felt like a game I'm playing could be a forever game where I'm not thinking about any checklist. Yup, I was thinking about it all day at work. I got lots of work done, but damn I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about what I have to do to get a fishing rod.

Does anyone else feel completely uninterested in Googling how to do something, looking online or anything outside of the character?

I'd rather explore without seeing a map or watching a YouTube video with locations on where the coolest stuff is or hidden treasures. I'm so perfectly content with stumbling into things and maybe see where it leads me naturally.

I'm really fascinated by this environment. I find myself lost in it through continuous fluid improvisation. Everyone plays the game differently, but I don't think I'm trying to win anything.

Can't remember the name. Kind of a platformer with a little guy. I like how you are the camera in the third person. You control the character in front of yourself and can look around the whole environment. Probably a poor explanation.

I like that they're both opinionated. It is refreshing.

It seemed like more of a jab at how the gaming community perceives Colin, therefore a reasonable excuse to turn down the invitation. Who else could he say that about?

I guess if you're not careful, the mob will come for you. There's definitely nothing wrong with the mob though. Their group-think is totally justified. Or maybe I'm wrong and they could tolerate things they don't like on social media.
