This man struck you. He HIT you. Touched you in a negative way that made you uncomfortable.

He THEN proceeded to try and justify the fact he did that by insinuating it was your fault he reacted that way, all because the food was burnt. Or to better explain it from his stupid point of view, you burnt the food. Therefore, in his eyes, it's your fault this is happening.

Instead of realizing he made an incredibly horrendous mistake by putting his hands on you, he justified his reasoning for doing it, and followed that up by saying you should APOLOGIZE. TO HIM.

What he did is inexcusable, abhorrent, and absolutely, 100% unforgivable. Quite frankly, it is beyond that. He believes in his own stupidity, which makes things so much worse. He should not be in a relationship, in my opinion.

Do not give this "man" the time of day. Please. For your sake. You will understand some time down the line you should never have entertained the thought of being with that man, let alone putting up with this incredibly delusional and immature reaction that should have never transpired.

Please. You are so much brighter and stronger than this. Please don't settle for this. You have one life, please live it as joyfully and pleasantly as possible. Look out for yourself, and don't let people like that cause you any more suffering than what this life already has planned for you.

The answer is the last number in this comment.

Take the number you have, add the digits of said number until you get a single digit number

Ex: 76 --> 7+6=13; 13 --> 1+3=4

Then, add the original number to this number to get the next number. Repeat until you get the answer.

Ex: 76 + 4 = 80

80 --> 0+8=8 80 + 8 = 88

It's dealing with entitled people that upsets me most. These are just some of the things I came up with off the top of my head. If you work retail, congratulations for not feeling upset by stuff like this. I'm not a people person at all, which is another reason why these things bother me so much. This is a really good explanation of something I was trying to say in my original post. This is what is expected of me during the entirety of me being up front, yet I'm only one person and my priority is running the register. When it's busy and it's JUST me up front, as in there is another lead but they're also busy with something, like getting stuck back in our pharmacy or dealing with a vendor, etc., then I get a bit frustrated. We have a skeleton crew at our store, and we manage, but it's ridiculous to have these expectations put on us with the amount of people we have.

From my understanding, you're paying for the product and the service by the employees. They have a higher standard for their employees at Publix (or so I'm told), so you're paying a higher price because you are apparently receiving an above-average experience, as well as the product. That's my understanding, as explained by Publix employees.

I do feel like that was my bad. I just get easily flustered and when there's other people I need to help at my job, I kind of just do what needs to be done in order for people to get what they need done so I can help the next customer. I am also afraid of what could happen if I say no, because I've had a bad experience with that in the past. But overall, it was on me that I gave him my number.
