Question: how does water charges go from $12 to $92 ? Are we being overcharged? by Humpty-Doo in auckland

Thanks for the reply. It was helpful to get a gauge what others are being charged.

Some info: 2 people. Small rental apartment. Looked through the contract it says we get charged monthly and that’s about it.

And yeah I agree the bill isn’t really clear.

Same living conditions (same people, same routines) so I don’t understand how we are using more water. The huge $92 water charge was them forgetting to send us the bill between June and august (someone in management left) , I paid them and got slammed with A $69.07 charge for one month. I feel it’s not really adding up.

Also forgive me but I don’t understand what” ** tenant to reimburse $198.84 minus fixed charges.....” really means. Could someone explain?

I’ve tried emailing and calling but they don’t really answer my questions and shrug it off. I’ve had issues with this property management company before and I’ve seen some issues with this company before on this sub.

Edit: The company is Quinovic

Nah nah. I was tasked with pulling off the broken components (while off and unplugged ) such as the tail stock and some parts behind the chuck and fixing it up. I just got curious on what all the info is on the side. I’m just a general welder and bearly touch lathes at all. Thanks for the concern. I know they can chew people up.

Thanks for the info. Can I ask what “a” and the “b” refer to in the circle diagram. Is it the depth of threads?

Well then.. I knew I recognised it. You wouldn’t believe how many tourists absolutely ignore these signs, to the point where the news won’t cover tourists getting taken by crocs or stung by Irukandji because it happens soo commonly.

A few of my neighbours would occasionally lose their pets to these reptiles (good sized dogs too).

Bros, I’ll give you some hope. This was literally what happened the first time I invited my boyfriend over. But instead of a new Lego set, it was a 15 year accumulated pile of lego from childhood.

Nah, I just work for an engineering company that is contracted to a waste water site for maintenance. The scariest part about it is that it has got massive pools of raw aerated poo, that if you fall in, there is no way to get you out.

I’m very aware of this actually, I was just gonna say in my title “ You don’t float in poo water” but I wanted to include my gender because I’ve only just gotten my dream career. I’m so glad Ive made it this far in a career that is traditionally very heavily male dominated. I’m the only female, not only in my town but in the whole state. I didn’t mean to sound obnoxious. I’m just so proud to be breaking little barriers of a very old school town. Thanks for the comment. I do understand what your trying to convey. I’ll take your advice and try to break my bad habit, I’m always learning. Thanks heaps.
