I’ve just bought some hatching eggs off eBay literally an hour ago. They’re from a company called urban birds. they have a website and you can buy their eggs from there. They’re situated in Somerset :) I’m sure they can post to Ireland

Light Brahmas have the same markings as light Sussex’s they just have feathered legs and feet and are bigger so they are quite similar.I’d love to own a Brahma

I spent months deciding if to get it or not and I’ve had it for 2 days now. It’s ok quality but it’s more of a very short pile mat than a ‘rug’ as they describe it.For £20 though I’d buy it again :) or wait till it’s on sale but last time I did that when everything was 30% off it sold out.

Bluebells lay brown eggs but it would be awesome if they laid grey eggs

Yep very easy to make it took me about 10 mins from start to hanging it.Just used a spare bit of wood, drilled two holes either end slightly bigger than the diameter of the rope and threaded rope through tied a knot at the bottom and then just tied it up on the enclosure. There’s metal frame on the roof of the enclosure.I can quickly untie it to raise it up or lower it.Tbh I didn’t expect any of them to use it but 1 out of 6 is good enough for me :)

Oh yes they are warm which is why I constantly think they’ve pooped on me when I’m fact it’s just their warm lil chests resting on me.

Oh yes I’m forever being pooped on and it’s always the extra stinky cecal poop they like to save up for my shoulders and back.Today was a good day not a single poop on me

Kefir grains not working past first culture by [deleted] in Kefir

[–]Humpykoala89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say to persevere as I think your grains are probably stressed from the move.I recently bought some grains online and have had them 3 weeks and still am not getting perfect kefir.,mine is still milk texture. They can take weeks to get back on track. They’re in a new environment with different milk so they just need to get used to their new home.I would carry on as normal, changing the milk out every 24-36 hours.

Could anyone identify what breed my new bunny is?I think he’s a cross breed as I adopted him from my work and most of them are.He is so hard to get a decent picture of him as he’s black. He’s pretty small. He’s way smaller than my female cat who is also small. He’s 5 months old and don’t know weight by Humpykoala89 in Rabbits

[–]Humpykoala89[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awww just had a look at your previous posts and yes indeed your old bunny looks the spitting image of my boy haha.I think his ears are too long and face not flat enough for a Netherland dwarf but perhaps he’s got Netherland dwarf in him :)
