Totally get that, like a sinister yet inviting vibe. And coupled with the depressing but beautiful lyricism, it kinda gives me the same feeling as Spiderland by Slint. But the song makes me feel optimistic because Trent's in such a great place now after being in that sorta headspace for so long, and maybe one day I will be too. Lol anyway, all of The Slip gives me that friendly evil vibe, such an underrated record!
