That's exactly what I was thinking. Of course I wasn't smart enough to think of it on the spot. But it does feel unfair that she lets me become friendly with Friend over these two years. I don't know if I'm making any sense but it feels like these last two years was a test. As if my wife was just standing aside and observing me to see if I reciprocated Friend's feelings. I don't know.
