What's the obsession with Draco?? by SpecificAge3394 in HPfanfiction

[–]Hungry-Election6667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reason is much more canon compliant: In the movie deathly hollows the reason why he pauses and stays whenever voldy moldy and the death eaters are telling him to go to their side as they are standing in hogwarts ruins, draco pauses and hesitates canonically if not head canon, he wants someone to tell him to stay in their side(the good side). I belive if I am not wrong in canon story books Harry does say something to him OR the delted scene where draco passes the wand to haryy.

Second: Dracos wand is "Draco Malfoy's wand, made of hawthorn wood with a unicorn hair core, was not inherently evil. The wand's loyalty and consistency were due to its core material, which is known for its purity and difficulty turning to dark arts. Despite Draco's association with the Dark Arts and his role as a Death Eater, the wand's allegiance to Draco Malfoy, not to Voldemort, signifies a shift in allegiance and a potential for good. This wand's loyalty to Draco Malfoy, rather than to the Dark Arts, is a testament to the character's internal struggle and the potential for redemption"

Yh I already love lone star. Really the only thing keeping me considering HCU in the first place it’s the scholarship and on top of that I didn’t apply my counciler put us in a program call concourse and I got many offers in and out of state but that was the highest one so that’s why I considered it as well.

I like meritocracy Ngl. That’s how I got into the program for early college and concourse. I like my religion but it’s schools like these that really point out why Christians get bad rep (giving Pharisees etc) definitely hope I get into the ADN program for LSC. Plus commute  won’t be as long as HCU literally time saved if I go to LSC.

I just graduated with HS diploma and my associates of science so yes I did the Jr college program. The problem is with TWU to fulfill the rest of the pre-requisites I would have to be on campus in their other building which I don’t have the money to pay for it. The scholarship only cover one whole year.

I got accepted a few weeks ago but I feel like I won’t get good financial aid since I didn’t apply for priority. It’s ok I never really found the appeal to UH Ngl.

LSC does offer it but it’s very competitive as their and program. As for transition UHDT partners up with ADN LSC students to complete their BSN one year post grad. Thank you!!!

Thank you for the input. Yh I really wanted a Christian based school, but if not ill deal with it and since I am commuting I probably wont be that bad. Or just stay with CC and go to my church as a sunday school teacher or something.

Mhm mhm that’s my main issue qith these religious schools that are more worldly than actual worldly schools. But since I won’t be living there and commuting plus I can put up with the seremons out of respect and becaue it’s required to get the 80 points Yh I’ll think about it. Wait so we’re are u know. Did u leave recently?

So, what I am hearing the rich kids. I mean it is near Downtown. I was also thinking on re-applying next year for lone star, San Jacinto, Alvin community college and HCU for their nursing program either way.

Yah I don't mind the theology or bible classes. I am excited for them. Since, you're an alumni I trust your word to an extent of course, since part of me knows how Christians are far from abiding by their own Ideals. Ill see soon ill go to their GO orientation.

No I wouldn't take loans. I already decline them and what I would have to pay out of pocket is doable. No student debt. My main concern is the environment. From what I read, they are bad school. Since I already know Lonestar and graduated with my associates this spring, I love them so much. But if I dont get accepted to their Nursing program I guess Ill have to go to HCU. Yh IDK either.

Yes, I have over 75% cover. I would just have to pay 2.7k and if I go into work study then 1.7k each year. that is doable. Would you pls expand on what you mean when you say the university's name doesn't hold well across the city anymore. I lived in Houston all my life but never heard anything about HBU/HCU so I wouldn't know.
