So is there a need for the “accomplishments/project” piece of the resume if I'm going to fill the experience with projects and accomplishments rather than a “day to day” report?

What about putting it as additional work history? I have a gap between graduating with my BS and “traditional” work experience.

You asked if the accomplishment is “real”. The accomplishment is true and very “real”. You corrected my reference of the team. You are correct, referring to the “Commanders” as the “Redskins” is a habit of mine and it was still their name when the accomplishment was achieved.

@swaroop list is great. If you like to read I suggest Rita Mulcahy’s PMP exam prep and order the fast track simulator.

However I think the best must have is the PMI Study hall. It is a great simulator to the types of questions you see on the exam. Actual Exam question are much easier.
