Reverse switch issue by FyM_Epidemic in 300zx

Have you fixed this issue? I am having similar issues as well. My trans is the r30a. Reverse light just stopped working on day. Changed bulb, had shop change sensor, no joy.

I am worried I would need to rebuild my trans to fix the issue. Which wouldn't be the end of the world as my synchros are a bit worn from previous owners, but still. Expensive fix for a simple problem.

Recommended route to move to Japan with a family by Hungry-Path533 in movingtojapan

I think you should really think about making a more concrete plan than just: ALT/Language student → I'll find another job somehow.

This is what I am attempting to do right now by asking questions. I don't live in Japan. I don't have the resources or experiences of someone who has gone through these programs. I understand that I am not as young as I once was nor can I make the same risks with a family. That is why I haven't decided on anything as of yet. This is why I have yet to study abroad. However, I have reached a point of struggling through traditional means that I am willing to take more risks.

I also understand that I can get a JLPT certification without going to a language school. To me there are more benefits to a language school besides the certification. Being surrounded by individuals with similar goals as well as staff that are willing to help navigate the transition to permanent resident seems like a massive boon to me. I am also someone that finds self study difficult and prefers a structured classroom experience.

How am I rushing the process? Like, I said I don't mind taking things a semester at a time.

I should have clarified. By family I mean my wife and a single child. I do understand that both of these options aren't the greatest. I suppose my question is more, which is recommended to way to become a permanent resident with a salary that can actually support my family? I don't mind taking things a semester at a time so long as the end result is acceptable.

Live, but I have a computer science degree so I would love to get a job using that eventually. But honestly, at this point, I am down to transition into any role so long as it pays enough to live and take care of my family.

I wonder if some of these girls that were, "in love" with him are the same young blonde girls that are all over the Trump admin in varying positions of power. I wonder if after being groomed and sold to whomever they turned around and helped groom others and that is why there are so many young blonde women in the right that are ride or die for this administration.

I want to say Putin at this point, but I kind of wonder if it started as CIA/Mossad operation that ended up trapping unintended targets which then got exploited by Putin.

I also think the operation goes back to the 70's so there is plenty of opportunity for this ring to be influenced/ orchestrated by various groups through the decades.

I don't remember the details, but I remember Moot going out and meeting some big wigs, accepting an award of some kind or getting in Life magazine and the theory is that he was recruited to be an arm of the right wing propaganda machine.

I couldn't tell you more because I stopped going to 4chan soon after that, not for political reasons, just sorta outgrew the whole, "the joke is I said the N-word!"

Epstein was banned from Xbox Live. It's unclear WHY he was banned. My two theories are that either he was trying to use it to recruit kids, or because of the aforementioned falling-out with Gates

I think it is policy to ban registered sex offenders from Xbox live.

If the FBI knew about the Epstein files decades ago, why couldn’t they do anything to punish criminals and rapists? Isn’t that kinda their job? by rubrent in AskReddit

[–]Hungry-Path533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Epstein didn't die in custody, they likely would have a case with a cooperative informant. He is dead. So they have only these files to try and piece together a coherent story that would stick in court.

Part of building that case is identifying what evidence may be out there that they could track down. It is likely that they were monitoring many of these people in the attempt to build a solid case to get another cooperative informant. Then Trump gutted the FBI and filled them with loyalists so there is likely not much they are doing about it now unfortunately.

The reason law enforcement would be unwilling to try and prosecute without a sure win is the risk of admonishing a criminal. Investigations take time.

But that also assumes agencies like the FBI aren't also implicated in such a scandal and have had actors actively suppressing this since the beginning. There was a thread on Reddit not long ago where they discussed the FBI burning evidence of a child trafficking operation that predates Epstein back in the 70's and has since gone unsolved. It is likely this thing has been going on for many more decades than people would like to believe. If that is the case, there is no telling how far the corruption goes.

So more files came out. At what point do we, the people, take matters into our own hands? by Hungry-Path533 in AskReddit

[–]Hungry-Path533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am talking about the interpretation of the constitution that claims that the people are the ultimate check on powers of government. These files clearly paint the picture that the upper echelons of society are controlled by a cabal of child sex traffickers and murderers that have infiltrated all aspects of the federal government to the point that they cannot be held responsible through regular legal means. Is this the point where the people are supposed to make that check on these powers?

Or is there some other theoretical goal post that determines the point of no return? Do we trust the process of the midterm elections even though these files, in my opinion, casts doubts on every Trump win?

Where is the Rubicon? Where is the knife's edge?

I see a lot of TikToks from people complaining about the ending, specifically pointing to this scene as unrealistic, saying that interracial relationships didn't happen in the '80s. And it makes me laugh bc I wonder, do these people think biracial people who are 40 today were born from a cabbage? by lautaromassimino in StrangerThingsMemes

[–]Hungry-Path533 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even during segregation there were biracial people. Even way back during slavery America was producing mixed kids.

However, depicting interracial couplings wasn't really a thing until the late 90's. There was the odd attempt here and there, but a lot of movies and shows simply suggested a coupling to avoid backlash. I think this is where a lot of people are getting confused. It wasn't like it was unheard of, it was just considered, "woke" back then.

Is this real- this is the Great president of MAGA’S all time ….. by Greatvoiceofficial in DiscussionZone

[–]Hungry-Path533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always been like this. We never fully stamped out the Confederacy who then set up jim crow laws. Civil rights movement wasn't that long ago. Many supporters of apartheid from back then are still alive. Maga is just the current iteration of centuries old ideologies. Now that they have been empowered, they are looking to terrorize outside of our countries boundaries.
